「整體來說還不錯，但是飯店人員不是很積極，我在15:00 check-in，可能太準時了，櫃檯人員打電話上去詢問房間好了嗎，然後說再請我們稍等五分鐘，我們到旁邊等待，中間一直有其他的旅客進來check-in，而他們都可以直接馬上入住，我們就這樣等等等，等了20分鐘，中間一直也有跟櫃檯人員對上眼，但她並沒有做任何表示，或是幫我們詢問房間，最後是我們等不下去才再次上前問房間好了嗎？櫃檯人員才打電話，然後告訴我們「好了」...那請問我們前面是在等心酸的嗎？這樣的態度實在令人失望！幸好後面的飯店整理、客服服務，還算是拉回了一點分數。」

「Leuk hotel in het centrum van Leeuwarden. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterzijde. Uitzicht op een blinde muur, maar daardoor ook geen last van lawaai van het terras. Schoon, ruim, voldoende kastruimte. In/uitchecken via het ondergelegen restaurant "Fire". Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Aanrader!」

「The room was nice and clean, the only downsides were how many random sets of stairs you have to drag your luggage up and down to get to the correct elevator if your room is in the other building. The two person bed room is really great if you want to sleep next to your partner without snuggling, as if they try they’ll get swallowed up by the beds separating, haha.」

「Van Der Valk is an upmarket chain of hotels and the ambience was certainly classy, however only skin deep. The charging posts are ‘Ecotap’ branded but there is no such app in the UK Apple App Store. Octopus Electroverse app claims to be able to connect to them but none of the charging posts numbers match with any in the app. When the correct post was finally located in the app, the session repeatedly failed to start.
