To be fair, we only stayed in the hotel as a sleepover while at a local wedding. But all of the staff were very polite and the room was clean and the bed was both large and very comfortable.

Stayed here for a couple of nights because we were going to a wedding in Leicester. Our room was compact but served it's purpose. Can't speak to the food or liquid refreshments because we didn't eat or drink there.

Really nice location of fit for purpose of my stay. Room was well appointed with good sense of fashion. The only improvement I would suggest would be air-conditioning in the rooms

First impressions were really great - helpful and friendly staff on arrival, both at the hotel and in the bar. Room was adequate for our needs which was a one night stay whilst visiting family in the area, however the rooms are in need of attention. The decor is worn and tired in places, the toilet seat in the bathroom was wobbly and the shower had a lot of mold in the corners. We even found a used contact lens attached to the wall in the bedroom. Breakfast was great - choice of cereals, juices and hot drinks with a cooked breakfast. Service was friendly and efficient.

I really enjoyed my stay at this pub with rooms. As a solo female traveller I appreciated the discreteness of staff when checking me in. Room was lovely and comfortable, bathroom great with good powerful shower. WiFi connection good enough to do online meetings. I ate in the pub one night and meal was great, Plenty of options for gluten free. Not far off the M1, I definitely stay there again if working in the area

Lovely comfortable room, wry helpful staff, great food and a great selection of beers. couple of minor irritations, to barely works, forever pixelating and fan in bathroom didn’t work, resulting in a very steamed up bathroom. Despite these issues we will definitely stay again.
