"We had such a great time here - the cabin is exactly as pictured. Just as nice and new as the photos show. They also went above and beyond any other rental we’ve ever stayed at as far as stocking the house with things you need - dish soap, shampoo and conditioner, olive oil and seasonings, Tupperware, coffee, a pack and play. It’s a quick drive in to Durango. Just note that the ladder up to the loft is really steep. My 5 and 3 year olds figured it out but only climbed with supervision. Not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of with your kids! They did love the loft area. Would absolutely stay again! "
"We had an excellent stay at Whispering Pines. The host greated us for the walk through and was very accessable for small questions and/or directions throughout the stay. The house was beautiful and fully supplied with quality items in the kitchen, linens, towels, beds etc. All great! The air matresses we all not usable, so that created issues, but we made due with couch/floor sleepers...The attention to detail in the house is great and very inviting. Just a fun space!Wild deer every morning while having coffee, Horse shoes, Tree house, Cornhole, Axe Throwing and a very clean hot tub that with a TV mounted near by! We never left the house for five days, besides a grocery run. It was perfect.Overall, The house was a huge homerun for our long overdue Family Reunion!"

"The home is wonderfully warm and cozy with little bits of sentiment throughout. The quiet street, large deck and hammock, and music collection were truly a joy and something you may not know you need but what a unique way to create space for people to enjoy the mountains. The lack of service and internet was refreshing- the kids didn’t mind at all with the trail to put around on and a most friendly neighbor dog “Jupiter” to throw sticks to! "

"The Florida River was so alive. It moved so quickly and with lots of white water going over and around rocks. It’s not very deep, but the current seems strong. It’s a rocky bottom, so you would need good rubber boots to wade, as well as someone to watch out for you. There’s a big backyard between the house and the river. It would be a great place for family gatherings and games. The pictures below of the river are LIVE, so be sure to hold each down, when you click on them.. We loved this VRBO, and hope we can come back.The house was great. Everything is on the first floor, except the master bed and bath. The VRBO pictures are accurate.
