"Parking was tight but always available, which was important to us. The hotel is right in the heart of Grassmarket, which is convenient, but also noisy and busy. The biggest issue wasn't the amenities, but the heat...probably not an issue most of the year, but certainly in this hot July. Only one of our windows opened (about 4 inches). The hotel staff tried to help with a fan and water cooler, however."
