「Good option if you just need to put your head down for the night. Clean and in a great location. This is an unstaffed property where you’ll receive entry instructions a day before. Someone is on call when you need them and they were super friendly. As it’s an old building with multiple rooms, it could potentially get loud and feel unsafe depending on the type of guests that are staying. Overall very good and would stay again if the price remains competitive 」

「Big up Shaji bro. It was amazing as always. The mattress was a bit smaller than the bed and there was a dirty fork but don’t worry we cleaned it for you! We shall come to stay again very soon. Thankyou for the room upgrade :) The bed was very comfy 」

「Nice friendly staff. Hotel decor dated in places but they are investing in renovation and I had one such room on the top floor. Walls a bit thin as could clearly hear a rather amorous couple next door - but that didn’t last too long!」

「It's quite good for my stay. I stayed in a room in the top floor. The staircase is a bit narrow, so you will find it more convenient if you don't have a big suitcase. The location is great. It's close to attractions in Brighton. I parked my car in the main street and just walked to the attractions.」

「The owner Chi was very friendly, and the room is nice for a stay near the beech in wonderful Brighton.」

「The room was clean, the bed was really comfy, the pillows were plumpcious ( very hard to find in my experience), en suite was clean and shower was a good size. Wonderful experience all round, from the floor fan being on when we arrived to the personal note to enjoy our stay. I love Brighton and will now always check for a room here before anywhere else for any future visits. 」

Poor soundproofing

"The soundproofing is poor, and I can hear the snoring from the neighboring room at night. I requested two bottled waters, but they did not provide them. The drainage in the bathroom is poor - after about 10 minutes of showering, the water starts draining out, as the shower area has a shallow floor and does not have enough time to properly drain. However, the hotel is indeed very close to the airport."
