This property is very close to the beach, pier, restaurants, a laundrette, and bus stops. The proprietor was extremely helpful with storing our luggage until check in time and even took our luggage to the room for us once the room was ready. My only complaint is that it does not have A/C. The room did have a fan, though, and we could open the window to let some air in. Overall I was very pleased to find this little gem! It was perfect for my weekend stay.

Brighton stay

Was there on business, took partner, paid for a sea view, but the ground floor flat next to front door didn’t have a sea view unless you put your head against the window on the ground floor next to public walking on the pathway. Was close to the sea and the town centre and pier, with lots to do in the area

Nice place to stay for younger visitors, great position near the beach with good facilities. Not good for anyone with mobility disabilities unless you can book a ground floor room, I'm disabled and had a top floor room so climbing six flights of stairs wasn't easy or welcome. Good value though

We never expected about this room which is very spacious with sea view. This room truly offers a remarkable sense of spaciousness. The breathtaking sea view adds an undeniable touch of luxury. A dining kitchen combination provides both convenience and a wonderful space for entertaining. It's easy to imagine spending countless hours enjoying the ambiance of this lovely room.

Not a bad stay, but be honest with advert

Expected a room like the one depicted in photos. The room was nice, but small, with no aircon. Paid for parking voucher, but no parking available so paid for NCP parking. The wording of “off-street parking” should be changed, as that is not the case.

Great hotel close to town

Stayed in the Amerhust for one night very welcoming easy check in we was upgraded to a bigger room which was clean spacious and well stocked with tea and coffee close to the town will definitely be rebooking agin

The room was okay - a bit tired and could have been cleaner. It wasn't disgusting but it wasn't immaculate. It's not exactly cheap either so I can't let it slide on that basis. Feels like it could do with a bit of love and a deep clean. Bed comfy, location is brilliant and I like that there's a proper fridge in the room. I've stayed here before and I would again.

Best Hotel Ever. Give Shaji a raise

Big up Shaji bro. It was amazing as always. The mattress was a bit smaller than the bed and there was a dirty fork but don’t worry we cleaned it for you! We shall come to stay again very soon. Thankyou for the room upgrade :) The bed was very comfy

Check in was seamless, communication prior to our stay was regular and informative. The property was in a great location just a stones throw from the beach and pier and just 10-15 minutes to the high street for shopping. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, friendly, and great location

This place was exactly what we needed. It was clean, and had all the amenities we wanted, including being able to cook for ourselves to save money, and the manager was very friendly and helpful. The location was really good too - close enough to the centre to walk to easily, but not so close that it would be noisy. Would stay here again.

Comfortable two day stay in Brighton

We had everything you need for a comfortable stay in room 11 (which strangely enough is in the basement ) room was clean and had everything you need for a couple of days away also the location is good

Good clean hotel

This was a lovely stay and a great location. Sometimes it is hard to get hold of staff on the telephone but if you walk about the hotel, you will find them. I would stay again.

It was okay for a short cheap stay. However, it was not very clean, or looked like the pictures and it was extremely small. There was no staff, so it was easy to check in/out.

The staff were helpful, the room was decent for the price, the bed was on the uncomfortable side and the bathroom was very small and the bath looked at bit old and grotty but good location easy to find and overall not a bad stay.

Me and my partner had a great time here, would definitely recommend this hotel for couples on a budget. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a microwave, kettle, fridge (with freezer compartment) and a hairdryer in the room, which was great. Would happily stay here again :)

This is very good value accommodation. I arrived late but entry codes to front door and room door worked without a glitch. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom spotless with a good shower. Id be happy to stay there next time.
