Historic Shotgun House Downtown Georgetown

Feel the History of Historic Georgetown by staying in our newly renovated shotgun house built circa 1930. Originally located on Main Street, the house was relocated to its current location.
Guests are welcomed by a paved walkway to an entrance on the side of the house. Guests are within walking distance to downtown Georgetown and Georgetown College. Ark Encounter 26 miles, Kentucky Horse Park 3 miles, Keenland 8 miles, Toyota 5 miles.

Amazing property in every way. Super clean and a great location. The hosts literally thought of everything to make this a five star stay. All the comforts of home, but in such a fun location. We would without a doubt stay here again.

Gorgeous property! Light, airy, impeccably clean, spacious home with high ceilings, an extremely well-appointment kitchen, and beautiful finishes throughout. The whole house felt elevated, elegant, and modern with a cozy and welcoming vibe. The hosts have thought of everything from plenty of soft throw blankets to easily-accessible supplies and a list of fantastic local independent restaurants. We definitely felt more like invited guests than renters- a rare thing!The house layout in genius. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house (one front and one back) with the kitchen and living room between them. They each have their own spacious bathroom and each has immediate access to outdoor seating areas (the front porch or the back firepit). I travelled with family but I can imagine this would be perfect for two couples traveling together as the privacy was outstanding.The location was great- just a block off Georgetown’s cute historic walkable Main Street with several restaurants and shops. It was very quiet and parking was readily available right across the street.The hosts’ communication was fantastic and proactive.We will definitely stay here again in the future and recommend it to other people visiting the area. This property is a gem!

Fantastic Stay

The house is adorable and just as pictured. Location is great as it is quick walk to the main street where there is shopping, food, and drinks. Check-in and check-out processes were a breeze. Will definitely stay again in the future when we are in the area.

Beautiful, clean & walkable!

My friends and I stayed here for a girls weekend and loved it! Beautifully decorated, super clean and downtown Georgetown within steps. We ate our breakfasts and one dinner at the house and it had everything we needed - Keurig and regular coffee pot, pots and pans for cooking, etc. Before our stay, I had a few questions and the host answered promptly each time. I would stay here again and highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay

A friend and I stayed for Horsey Hundred weekend. The house was perfect. Very contemporary furnishings. We each had our own bedroom with bath. The owners thought of everything and the house had every furnishing we needed. The house was less than 1block from downtown and very convenient to Georgetown College. I highly recommend staying here.

Top notch wonderful gem

We absolutely loved this home. Everything you could need. Great location for our plans. Beds slept great. Cute town and nice choices of places to eat. From booking to check out it was all easy. Owner very responsive and professional. The landscaping was so pretty and very well maintained. The home was extremely clean and inviting. We loved all the decor. Hope to come back soon!

Great little house in cute downtown Georgetown

We were in town for my daughter’s horse show and had a quick weekend stay in this adorable house located in downtown Georgetown. This house is an easy 12 minute drive to Kentucky Horse Park and it’s newly updated and beautifully decorated. The master bathroom had a double sink vanity with an awesome rain shower. Both bedrooms had comfortable beds and linens. The house was very clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The owner left a vase of fresh flowers on the kitchen counter for us which was lovely. This property also has a cute little backyard with four chairs and a gas fire pit and nice landscaping. Parking was across the street in an empty lot and the area was quiet but around the corner from a number of cute shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will stay again!

Gem in Georgetown!

We were in town for the 149th Kentucky Derby (a bucket list trip for us)! This home was in a wonderful location and our stay was comfortable....it was the perfect size for two couples with everything we needed! Such a cute little historic town. We enjoyed 4 bourbon tours in the area as well as the Kentucky Oaks and the Derby. So glad we found this gem in Georgetown, KY! We would highly recommend staying here!

A Great Stay in a Great Spot

This property was amazing, every detail thought out. The beds were comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. It is located in historic downtown Georgetown which has its own charm. Many eateries and shops within walking distance, you almost don't need to leave town. We visited the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum which were a good drive out to each, but we thoroughly enjoyed coming back to the property each night. There is a gas fire pit on the back patio that wasn't pictured, so that was an unexpected surprise. It is an old frame of a house that has been completely updated in every way. Lots of historic buildings and churches along with the college campus to see and plenty of restaurant chains and groceries a short drive away. Some things to note; when we stayed the coffee maker was a Kuering but pods were provided - thank you! It was cold and a steady temperature was hard to maintain throughout the house but using the electric fireplace in the front bedroom helped. There were also plenty of cozy, clean blankets to keep the cold at bay. There was live music from the main street just up the hill on Friday night but it was not disruptive nor did it go on very late due to the noise ordinance of the little town. If you need a place to stay in the area for your small family or maybe two couples, I highly recommend this spot!
