“Lovely tradition Italian apartment. Spacious and clean, appreciated having a washing machine. Should be noted the apartment is on the 2nd floor, up two very steep flights of Stairs, would not be suitable for anyone with mobility or unsteady feet.”

“The location was excellent, walkable to the ferries, trains (10 mins), restaurants and bus stop that takes you to Portofino. It is a quiet area, much less traffic noise than directly on the port. There is an Ekom supermarket only 5 minutes from the unit which is well stocked. The unit is a great size with a well equipped kitchen (except oddly no cutting/bread board or tea towels), has a washing machine, clothes drying rack (no pegs) and small balcony which was a lovely spot to relax with a……

“This apartment was great. Very convenient to the beach, train station and restaurants. Public paid parking is a 2 min walk adjacent to the beach. The host made check in very easy. Messaged us with the process and sent a video of how to exactly get to the property. The view from the property was amazing. During the day beautiful beach view, night time we saw plenty of stars and the silhouette of the mountain side. The only thing I would caution (no fault of the host) is how many steps to the……

“We absolutely loved this stay on our trip to Italy. Matteo is the best host I’ve ever encountered. He met us close by the apartment, was extremely friendly, helped us with the luggage and wanted to be sure we had the best trip ever. The apartment was even better than expected with the roof top patio being amazing. When we left, Matteo met us for coffee in the morning, took some photos and showed his appreciation. “The Sound of Silence was great, very rustic and nice and big and included was some food and milk to get us started so we were able to have breakfast every day at the vrbo. The washing machine was great as we had some laundry to do in the middle of our Italian holiday. I would only rent this place if you have a car as we did not and there were not taxis or Ubers in Bellagio, and it is quite the hike up the mountain! It has such great hiking in the area and we just loved Cinque Terre!!”
