Värmen kunde vi inte reglera själva och det var liiiite för varmt i rummet (ca +34 grader utomhus). Locket var till en mindre gryta så det kunde vi inte använda. This upscale residential district features elegant apartment buildings and the impressive neoclassical Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta. The neighborhood's peaceful tree-lined streets reveal 19th-century villas with ornate balconies and pastel facades. The Museum of Modern Art at Villa Croce provides a cultural highlight for art enthusiasts. Traditional trattorias serve elevated Ligurian cuisine including fresh pesto and focaccia. Though quiet by night, select wine bars maintain the area's sophisticated character while preserving its tranquil residential atmosphere.

Nervi

Nervi charms visitors with its spectacular 2km Mediterranean coastal promenade and historic parks. The famous Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi offers breathtaking sea views as waves crash against dramatic cliffs. Art lovers can explore the Galleria d'Arte Moderna housed in a 16th-century building. This peaceful Genoa area showcases Belle Époque villas in soft pastel colours cascading down hillsides. Botanical gardens at Villa Grimaldi feature exotic plants and shaded pathways. Small trattorias along the waterfront serve fresh local seafood and traditional Ligurian specialities.

Castelletto

Perched on a hillside above Genoa, Castelletto rewards visitors with breathtaking panoramic views of red-tiled rooftops and the azure harbour. "We only stayed one night for exploring Genoa and to leave for an early morning flight. Staff were lovely and the hotel was nice (if a little dated). The only downside is difficulties getting in and out of Genoa itself. We went for the evening and got the airlink bus to the train station and then came home at 11pm and there were no more airlink shuttle services and no taxis so we needed to do a dark walk in a not so nice area back to the hotel. Otherwise a great stay."

"The hotel looks modern and clean and our room has plenty of space and looked nice. I think some of the photos are a bit misleading, as the roof terrace isn't that large. The hotel is located a bit from the centre of Genova, so too far to walk. There isn't many restaurants in the locality, but there is a supermarket next door. There is a car park underground, but it is rather small and space is not guaranteed. Overall, it is a nice hotel, and if you have a car then worth staying here."
