  • A relaxing retreat awaits you at this Lincoln City 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom vacation rental beach cabin located in the upscale Olivia Beach development. Inspired by beach living, the lovely The Strand comfortably sleeps 4 with a maximum of 6 guests. Whether you’re seeking a relaxing retreat or an adventurous tour of the Oregon coast, this picturesque beach home, will quickly become your favorite beach getaway. You may not want to leave!



    This beach house is equipped with everything you'll need to feel right at home while enjoying the peace and tranquility only nature can provide. Scenic coastal landscaping and community amenities frame this lovely 2-story home, with two full master suites on the second level. The high ceiling, beautifully decorated spaces, and thoughtfully appointed rooms will make you want to move in. Comfortable furnishings, outdoor deck seating, and gas fireplace add to the cozy feel.



    In the fully-equipped kitchen, prepare delicious meals and sit down with a park view at the lovely, dining table that seats 6. Enjoy the entertainment system, cable and Wi-Fi to entertain and stay connected while on retreat.

    Olivia Beach is designed to enjoy common recreation areas, an outdoor saltwater heated swimming pool with deck overlooking the Pacific (open seasonally, Memorial Day through Labor Day, 10am-8pm), a 24/7 year-round fitness center, a big central park with playground, a large community fire pit, and sand volleyball. Plus, the stars are amazing on a clear nights!



    Located adjacent to Olivia Beach Community Pool, you’ll have the best of Oregon’s coast right at your doorstep! With three beach access points just minutes away, you can walk or drive to the stunning oceanfront and begin your next nautical excursion. The tide pools are the best on the central coast, and agates are popular finds on Olivia Beach. Plus, the stars are amazing on a clear nights!



    Within Lincoln City you’ll discover a wide array of attractions, including Devil’s Lake State Park where you can spend summer days kayaking with local guides, or in the winter months, you can search the beach for glass floats! Families and friends also gather in the area for kite contests and sand castle building. Ten minutes up the coast is the Chinook Winds Casino with gaming and live entertainment. Shop until you drop at the area’s outlet mall, or explore local shops and restaurants within walking distance.



    For a day trip, visit Newport, offering the hip Nye Beach shopping district, Rogue Brewery and the Oregon Coast Aquarium, just 25 miles away. Next to Nye Beach there’s even a playground with a giant hillside pirate ship slide, a sure treat for the kids! We had a very relaxing stay. Mostly ate locally and played bingo at Chinook winds. And slots there too. Only one day of beachcombing, but the low tides were still a bit high. Will be back.

Beautiful cozy little home!

The house was just perfect for our girl's weekend. We arrived at the house late in the day and were very happy to find fireplace running and lights on for us, super inviting and welcoming. Found the house to be cozy and clean with cute decor. Will be renting again if we go to the area for another weekend.

The house was decorated very cute and super clean. Communication with ITrip/the strand was easy and appreciated. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, the neighborhood amenities were awesome. It is a great place at a good price. If I have to make one recommendation it would be to have improved cable/tv options. We had a great stay, thank you!

Short but Sweet

We only stayed for 2 nights, would have stayed for 3 but it was booked, and we can see why. Well equipped for 2-4 people, cute little property, right across the street from a swimming pool. Great little neighbourhood feel. Hosts responded quickly to a couple of q's. Would come again!

Charming and feels like home

The house is clean and decorated with a welcoming feel as soon as you walk in the door! Instruction book needs to be updated with more details. Access to beach, how to work the tv's, pool access, local shopping (grocery and food), local restaurant recommendations.

Great Place!

We loved this vacation rental. The kitchen was fully stocked with all appliances etc. The House was bright and cheerful, super clean. My son loved playing with the games. The code of front door was super easy too. It is a 10 minute easy walk to the beach and 2 minute walk to pool which was a highlight for us. Overall great place and we would totally book it again!

Fantastic Home Away From Home

This property was so well set up and comfortable! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all you needed (except the food) to cook and serve any type of meal! I stayed here with my aunt as a girls sewing get away! Beds were comfortable and each room had a full bath attached! We pleased there was a half bath downstairs too! Plenty of space. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely book this home again!

Nice Getaway on the Coast

The Strand is a well-appointed, cozy and centrally located home in Olivia Beach. We've stayed in the neighborhood several times, each time in a different home. This is the first one we would consider renting again. The peek-a-boo views of the ocean from upstairs were an unexpected bonus, which also means you can hear it with the windows open. Comfortable beds, everything we needed to cook in the kitchen, and very quiet. The only downside is that we were only there for the weekend and would like to have stayed much longer!

Cozy beach-hideaway in a great neighborhood

We had a great and relaxing family stay in this awesome little hideaway close to the beach. The house was easy to find, easy check-in and cozy and well-equipped on the inside. All amenities you need for a great vacation. The neighborhood is great, calm and very safe. The only downside we encountered is that the outside of the house is not well maintained. The garden could need some attention and the furniture on the deck was old and rusty. A pity for a summer vacation. Inside: 5 star, outside: 4

Pleasant stay

Overall it was a good stay at this house. Some things to bring to your attention that I will mention: The bathroom sink off the laundry room is not attached to the wall making it rather unsteady. The 2 pendant LED light bulbs in the kitchen just flicker when dimming and would be better as warm white dimmable bulbs. Lastly, the TV’s provided are definitely on the small size..

Cute beach house but lack privacy

The house was very clean and well stocked. Kids loved the Wii (although we had to buy our own batteries for the controls). We loved the kitchen and big washer, dryer. The house didn't have the air mattress as listed so my son had to sleep on the couch. The front glass-door really need blinds, lots of people walking on the streets and they can see inside the house. The patio door upstairs (in the bedroom) also need blinds because people from the road behind can see inside. The area seems to be full of vacation rentals, so it's pretty busy plus houses are near each other. Even though I liked the house, especially because it doesn't allow dogs (pet allergies), I didn't like the area (a few parties were going on in nearby rentals which resulted in noise and lots of cars). There was even an incident where a random stranger came on the property and checked out the garage (totally out of control of iTrip but it didn't make me feel safe). I think next time, I would chose another place/location more quiet.

Disappointed

Property is right across from the club house and a short walk to the beach. We were impressed with the community. Unfortunately, the place itself was not up to par. We read a lot of reviews that said it was clean and that was most important to us. We walked in and the place looked great, decorated cute and very cozy. We checked in later than expected so unloaded and went to dinner. Come to find out one of the upstairs bathroom toilets did NOT work. Also, as we were unpacking, the kitchen sink faucet was broken. We reached out to the property owners/management and they got back to us promptly. Said someone would be out to fix it and apologized. We didn’t hear back from them again regarding the issues. We stayed Friday-Monday, with a kitchen sink that was sufficient, very inconvenient. Luckily we found something to help the sink turn on, just didn’t work most of the time. We were down a toilet upstairs the entire stay. These were two major inconveniences. We also noticed other cleanliness issues, there was food crumbs all over the stairs and food peanuts on the floor in the living room. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a fitted sheet on the bed, only a mattress cover which again it was late and we didn’t notice. The other bedroom bed had long black hair in between the sheets. The comforter stunk like dirty feet. The extra comforter had a melted laundry pad stuck and melted to it. The other blankets downstairs stunk too. We had to wash everything the next morning. Not impressed.
