“We have stayed at the Petwood Hotel before, in order to join a friends party.
We loved it so much that I treated us to a room overlooking the garden. It was well worth the extra money, as there was a raised area with a lovely table overlooking the gardens as well as the huge size of the room itself.
The history and atmospheric quality of the hotel is superb and the local area is fabulous, especially for walks or cycling.
Treat yourself to Sunday lunch if you can as a fabulous pianist called……

“The hotel is a renovated historic building nicely located next to the cathedral and the castle. Indeed the breakfast chamber offers a good view of the cathedral towers.
The rooms are neat and clean. The hotel staff are very friendly. Besides other things, they offered to assist me in taking a few good photos to preserve the exceptional experience for being there.
It was a highly memorable stay, despite having had some difficulties in finding the hotel entrance owing to lack of……
