“The White Hart is ideally placed at the top of Steep Hill with easy access to the castle and cathedral. There are several restaurants within easy walking distance in addition to the hotel's own a la carte and bar food menus. The shower and other plumbing were excellent which was all the more impressive given the age of the hotel and it's location at such an elevation. “I’m not sure where to start with this. The hotel had a “reggae festival” on which wasn’t stated when booking the stay. Which means the car park (which is one of the perks of the hotel. Was inaccessible even to guests. The staff were too busy with this “festival” meaning the woman that was on the desk doesn’t usually work the desk so didn’t know what she was doing. We got to our room to find the bathroom was dirty (specifically the bath itself and it had a long dark hair in it to go with the……

“It was good, unfortunately the light bulb in the bathroom went but that wasn't anyone's fault, luggage storage was only £5 which was great, I definitely will stay there again. :)”

“Friendly staff and spacious rooms, there is a great attention to detail with all the services we used. We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar staff were very high on service and make beautiful cocktails. There is a lovely bar on the top floor with views over the marina. Nice big comfortable bed in our room. The bathrooms are smart, the only criticism is that the temperature of the shower was a bit erratic. It’s nice that there is a safe and a kettle with tea and coffee also adequate plug……

“Rooms were tiny curtains to small for the window tiny tv no where to store your cloths no bed change over the 3 day stop overall basic some where to sleep could not spend the day in the room as it's a box with a bed and shower that did not work properly good for location but if your going on nights out to get drunk brilliant place just to get your head down sorry but it's the truth advertisment is false rooms are nothing like the pictures won't be staying again also be was bed was broken on one……

“unfortunately there was no hot water in the shower, tv was not working, the flush in toilet was temprimental and the toilet seat was moving, bed frame was broken. Definitely not worth £116 per night and without the breakfast. Daylight robbery. Was cleaned and nice man helped us to enter the front door. Sadly basic amenities failed.”
