Rooms are very tired, dated and not standardised, carpets very dirty in rooms. Television reception was so poor that made viewing anything not possible. Wifi worked, not all televisions were smart in that couldn't view streaming services. Some rooms still have single glazing, meaning cold and very noisy. The kitchen was okay but missing many things like bowls, poorly equipped. Entrance was unlit, making later arrival difficult as unable to see entrance and unable to enter code. Cleaning staff seemed helpful. Hotel was cheaper, but I expected more, poor value for amount paid. No disabled access or rooms.

Got bitten by bedbugs whilst i stayed. The rooms are big but very scruffy. Fire alarm going off due to people smoking in rooms. Owner didn't want to know about my complain and said i had to just speak to Hotels.com. Avoid this place if you can.

Booked this very last minute as we were booked to stay in the Tennyson round the corner but their front door failed and we could not get access to the property. Stayed here before so knew it would clean and comfortable and safe to come back to after an event in the city and we would not be locked out of the building
