“Clean and brand new room. The staff is the best. The great location to walk Provenza, El Poblado and everything. It's small hotel but I got more than I have expected. I will recommend to all of you. I am coming back soon.”

“Spacious and comfortable room, easy check in and out, excellent breakfast and overall really cool place to stay. Restaurant staff are great - thanks Leidy and Diego (spelling?!). Outdoor chairs on rooftop and on the terrace terribly uncomfortable. Gave only 4/5 due to cleaning staff. Our room wasn’t made up for 2 days so we had to request at front desk. For almost CAD$200/night, this should be done right every day. Our terrace wasn’t swept or cleaned for our entire 4 day stay. Old cigarette……

“Excelente hotel. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas, personal muy amable y atento. La ubicación es perfecta a 5 minutos caminando del poblado y el ambiente muy tranquilo. El hotel tiene el detalle de proporcionar protectores auditivos, la realidad en nuestra experiencia no fue necesario. El desayuno bufet muy bueno. ¡Totalmente recomendado!”

“Golden Valley Hotel was perfect for what we wanted. It was in a great location, close walking distance to the metro (under 10 min), the best restaurants in the city, and grocery stores to get lots of snacks. Would recommend it to anyone and would stay again when visiting Medellin. ”

“Really cool vibe at this hotel. The rooftop bar has spectacular views and the food/cocktails are excellent. We almost felt guilty eating here too often because while we wanted to check out other locations, the food here was so good! (Try the club sandwich. It is excellent). The staff are really excellent, they go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of and this is a pretty quiet hotel for El Poblado. ”

“We got what we paid for it. Room was tiny compared to the photos—nowhere to sit in the room, and barely any room for our stuff. Pillows were hard and too big, so couldn’t sleep on them. Area is in the red light district, so loud at night. Definitely worth it if you just need a place to store your things while you adventure out, but would not recommend if you like to spend time at the hotel. Likewise, restaurant/bar/cafe was completely closed down which was not advertised. ”
