"Beautiful views, excellent drinks and food, impeccably clean! I was particularly impressed by how particular the housekeeping staff were about keeping the rooms clean- they were even mopping the rooms daily to keep the sand out! The beach at this Hilton is easily the best I have ever experienced in the Caribbean (and I have been to a lot of Caribbean Islands) - highly recommend staying here. Some areas for improvement- 1) the restaurants and drinks here are expensive! 2) The amenities could be improved by adding a microwave to the rooms 3)On special occasions like Christmas or New Year’s, while the special dinners at the restaurants are nice to offer, would be good to at least have one restaurant open with the regular menu for guests with dietary restrictions- as a vegetarian, it didn’t make any sense for me to pay USD250 for a special 5-course meal where the only vegetarian course was the dessert! We ended having to do takeout from another local restaurant which was a pain since there are not a lot of options within walking distance and one has to go out into the city. "

"Location pretty much requires a car, but has a gated parking area. It IS walkable to downtown, just more convenient with a car. There were 3 of us and each had a bedroom. Although we only stayed 3 days we didn’t use the kitchen facilities but we could have made our own meals there. Good air conditioning in each bedroom and living area. Host Alvon was very accommodating and made sure our needs were met. Will likely stay there again when in Barbados. "

"We had 3 wonderful nights at this eco friendly house in Barbados. From the moment we arrived I was impressed by the peaceful atmosphere and the thoughtful design. The home was spotless,beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The host Sharon and her husband were welcoming and friendly and offered to drive us around so we could get familiar with the route since we had trouble getting around.
The home accommodated my husband myself and 13 year old daughter comfortablely.
I would definitely recommend this hidden gem."
