Nice size apartment for a family and a good location for walking around Lisbon. Guests should note apartment is above a noisy restaurant so expect loud noise and music until at least 11:00 each night. Some confusion about check-out time…. In the VRBO messages, host said checkout was at 11:00 am. Inside the apartment, check out time is listed as 10:00 am in one spot and 10:30 in another. We assumed and clarified with host that 11:00 would be fine. We came back from breakfast and were shocked to find the cleaner already in our space. It felt was inappropriate and intrusive.

Manuel was so kind and accommodating - checking in on us throughout the stay to make sure we were comfortable. The location was amazing! Coffee and pastry at the corner for the morning and multiple bars and restaurants for the evening. I'd definitely rebook this stay on a future visit.

Wonderful property with easy access to everything that the Graca neighborhood and all of Lisbon has to offer. We loved the variety of restaurants just outside the front door and, most importantly in late July, the air conditioning units in the apartment. Thanks for hosting us!

Nachts extrem lautes Umfeld

Die Wohnung liegt direkt über einer Pizzeria und einer Vinothek, die täglich von 18 Uhr bis 02 Uhr Nachts, mit lauter Musik und Massen von Gästen betrieben wird. Hier ist ein regelrechter Party Hotspot entstanden ! Wir hatten 6 Nächte gebucht und wollten eigentlich einen entspannten Urlaub mit Freunden in Lissabon verbringen, daraus wurde nichts. Es war ein einziges Martyrium, vor 3 Uhr Nachts war es nicht möglich zu schlafen. Musik und laute Gäste - vor den Lokalen -sorgten dafür.Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist für portugiesische Verhältnisse nicht schlecht, wir haben diesbezüglich nichts vermisst.

Super séjour

Nous avons profité de notre séjour à Lisbonne et sommes très satisfaits du logement de Manuel situé dans un quartier animé. Juste en bas de l'appartement plusieurs restaurants, très pratique après une grande journée de ballades.L'appartement ,qui a gardé son authenticité, est spacieux, bien équipé et propre.Les lits sont très confortables.La communication avec Manuel a été parfaite.Nous recommandons ce logement ! Et nous gardons cette adresse pour un prochain voyage

Fab flat in a lovely local area

Easy check in process and easy to find. The flat is in a local street with a pizza place, some bars and a great cafe all nearby. Just round the corner are other shops, cafes and restaurants. The flat is clean, modern and was suitable for 4 adults to have separate rooms - one room being the other side of the nice outside terrace.

Loved the neighborhood and the flat

We had a wonderful time. How convenient to have pizzeria and wine bar right downstairs. And a pasteleria just down the block. Clean and enjoyable accommodations.

Great location in Lisbon

Great apartment located near shops, public transit, restaurants and bakeries. We enjoyed the patio and the well equipped kitchen. The only negative was the occasional noise from the restaurants. Overall, it was wonderful and we would book again.

Lovely home in Lisbon

My family and I had a fantastic stay here. The neighborhood is an amazing location, very walkable to many of Lisbon’s popular destinations. Lots of great dining options nearby too. Manuel was a great host, very quick with communication and helpful for all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect property and great location

We were 4 friends looking to stay in Lisbon prior to commencing our Camino walk. We wanted a spacious apartment with 4 bedrooms. This apartment ticked all our ‘wants’ and with great food and wine so close. Would highly recommend.

Great neighborhood and environment

7 adults stayed for 2 nights as stopover. Safe/clean neighborhood and apartment, very nice vibe. Lots of (free) sights to see within walking distance. Cafes and restaurants abound. We found the apartment to be very comfortable and clean, though with so much to do, we weren't in it for very long, but enjoyed returning to after a day of exploring. Manuel is a very responsive and generous host. We would definitely return! Obrigado, Manuel! This part of Lisbon is very hilly, and the apartment requires walking up 2 flights of stairs, so if a guest is mobility impaired, they will need to think ahead about how they will negotiate. We had 2 senior citizens with us who had no problem doing stairs or walking up/down hills and enjoyed it very much!

Great Neighborhood

The location is great It was at a high point so every location we wanted to go to was downhill. Lisbon is called the Seven hill for a good reason. But returning was taken in sections. It's located within a short walking distance to 2 overlooks with fantastic views of Lisbon. There is a local bread bakery across from the apartment only open from 0700-1230 on certain days. There are multiple cafes all less than 50 yards away from our doorsteps, and we tried all of them. There is also a local grocery chain store located about 100 yards from our doorstep as well. There is also a stop for the Tram 28 less than 75 yards from our doorstep. From the airport with medium traffic, it was about a 20 min ride. When you arrive at the location the taxi will drop you off about 30 yards from the doorstep, the entrance is in a pedestrian only plaza. The property is very spacious with the back yard area. There is even a grill set up for a small BBQ. The host arranged for us to drop off our luggage early. Access to the unit was very easy using the electric combo for the lobby and a key box for the apartment. We would use this rental again.

Perfect place for our group of 7

Our group loved this place, both the space and the location. Very fun neighborhood and easy access to everything we wanted to do in Lisbon. The separate unit was perfect for the parents with a 2.5 year old. Great set up!

Onvergetelijke ervaring

Het verblijf was zoals het was gepresenteerd, ruim, schoon en nostalgisch in een levendige wijk. Manuel is een erg behulpzame en communicatieve eigenaar en heeft gezorgd voor een aangenaam verblijf. Het terras was geweldig om met meerdere personen gezellig te barbequen en te vertoeven. Ik beveel dit appartement zeker aan iedereen aan.

Excellent location!

My colleagues and I (and spouses) were in town for a week for a conference. Manuel's apartment was perfect for us - we all had comfy rooms that worked for us (5 of us total). It was a little bit noisy at night (being on top of a popular wine bar and pizzaria), but the location was also amazing! The views were wonderful, food in the immediate area plentiful and delicious (including the wine bar and pizzaria), and there were so many nearby view spots and locations to visit, including several within 10-15 mins walks and many more within short and affordable public transit rides. Manuel was also a great host, offering several great suggestions and checking-in (via email) to make sure everything was going well. All in all, this was a great place to stay in a wonderful part of the city!

A superb spot

The apartment is located in a lovely part of town, close to 2 beautiful Miradouras (viewpoints) and there are a range of lovely food shops and eateries close by. The main bedroom has a lovely view down and over the river. The terrace at the back is an oasis of calm. There was some noise at the front of the property in the evenings from the pizza place and bar below but the double glazing is very effective at blocking the sound and it didn’t disturb us and is the nature of staying in a vibrant city. Would whole heartedly recommend the property and Lisbon.
