nice neighborhood

Loved the area, communication was great, checked and out right on time. Lisbon is full of hills, and this was hilly but a great area. We had a car and found street parking near by every time we went out. As long as you can do stairs I would highly recommend staying here. The views both out the front and back were amazing.

Family Spring Break

We absolutely loved our stay on St. Gens! Gisela was very accommodating. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4—teens ages 14 and 17. You can't beat 3 bedrooms in a European apartment. The location was lovely. We really enjoyed the Graca neighborhood. It was the perfect jumping-off location and also the perfect neighborhood to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. It truly felt like "home" for the week!

Lovely Apartment in a Great Location

We would stay here again! The host was kind and accommodating. The location is perfect. The apartment was very clean with comfortable beds and everything we needed, including a coffee maker. Be sure to visit our favorite tapas restaurant... Da Prada 52.

We had a lovely stay here in this cute apartment in a charming neighbourhood. Gisela was a wonderful host and was very flexible with our check in process. There were many delicious restaurants in the neighbourhood. Overall wonderful time in Lisbon

A lovely place in the heart of Lisbon

Gisela’s place is a lovely apartment right in the center of Lisbon. She and her husband were wonderful hosts and great communicators. They left very nice touches, including a nice bottle of wine and made us feel at home. It is in walking distance to almost everything that you’ll need, and if you have a car, parking is relatively easy especially for a big city. Do keep in mind that it is on the fourth floor of a walk up building, which for us provided a good form of exercise. Also, through no fault of Gisela’s, it was very hot when we were there and many apartments in the city do not have air conditioning. She was very accommodating and provided us fans when we asked. My family wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again the next time we are in Lisbon.

Great location. Be prepared though for steep staircase to get to 3rd floor. Host was very good at communication, had issue with not enough towels which was quickly resolved. Mattresses comfortable however have to fix the slats in the main bedroom bed frame, the quick fix of sellotape which we discovered is clearly not working and a lot of money being spent by guests. Great supermarket 2 minute walk away, and lovely restaurants around.

El piso está bien ubicado: cerca de algun punto de interés, de transporte público y de servicios: restaurantes, farmacia, tiendas de alimentación. El piso es antiguo pero ha cumplido con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en Lisboa: habitaciones amplias y cómodas; cocina equipada; baño bien equipado y zona de estar. La dueña es un encanto, atenta y da respuesta immediata a consultas y necesidades.

Beautiful neighborhood, which happened to be just up the road from one of the areas celebrating Festas de Lisboa. Great street food, fun times, but not too noisy from inside the apartment. The host was friendly. The only thing I would caution (and this was in the description) is that this is on the third floor (which in the US we would call the fourth floor, since UK and EU start with ground floor, then first floor, etc.) If you are capable of walking up some stairs, though, I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Great place to stay

We were really pleased with our host and the accommodations. It was very easy to head off for sight-seeing and comfortable to relax and sleep afterwards. Having a washing machine was bonus and outdoor hanging line. The toaster needs fixing/replacing but we made do. And it could use a non stick frying pan.

Gisela is a lovely host

We had fun and explored the local area. Gisela is great about giving suggestions. She is very responsive and helpful. The apartment was as described. Close to walking to nice viewpoints and grocery. View from balcony is lovely for sunrise.

Great location!

This was a great little apartment for our family. Gisela met us when we arrived and had great tips and recommendations for our visit. The beds were also really comfortable and the place was very clean. We were able to walk everywhere with lots of amenities nearby. Thanks Gisela, we had a great time!

Family friendly and great location

Amazing stay! Our family of 5 (2 adult, 3 children) loved our stay. Gisela, was a perfect host. Met us on arrival and helped carry up our luggage. Offered recommendations and also offered us an early check in and late check out. Very flexible and accommodating. The apartment is steps away from restaurants and shops and amazing view points. The area feels safe and family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it especially if traveling with children!

Charmant endroit avec belle vue

Nous avons adoré l’endroit, bien organisé. Un endroit typique du vieux Lisbonne. Ma mère de 70 ans était avec nous. Elle n’a pas eu de difficultés à se rendre mais il faut être en forme. Il y a 3 étages d’escaliers à monter. Par contre pour se rendre à partir de l’aéroport et autobus c’est super facile
