Sintra, Cascais, Lisboa to visit

Ground floor of a house in a small quiet village, in the countryside, with garden, barbecue area with terrace, small fish pond, fruit trees, roses ... With 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, 32 m2 lounge with 1 double sofa bed + 2 single folding beds, fully equipped kitchenette, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, satellite TV, Internet, Wi-Fi connection, etc., 1 bathroom. Linens provided. In the village we have a grocery store 300m away, but 1.4 km away you have 2 supermarkets.
Francos is 1 km from the city of Cacém and 16 km from Lisbon airport, 9 km from the center of old Sintra (Regaleira), and two kilometers to Castelo dos Mouros, Palacio da Pena and also Monserrate, (because you have to go up the hill), 8 km to Queluz Palace, 15 km from Belém, and Lisbon, 15 km from Cascais.
From the village there is a bus every 1/2 hour to the stations of Cacém and Rio de Mouro, where you can take the train to Sintra or to Lisbon. It takes 20 minutes by bus, more than 20 min by train and you are in Sintra, From there you can walk to see all the attractions; you have beautiful gardens, restaurants, shops, and you also have horse drawn carriages to visit all of that.

Perfect Property - Location has to be a fit

Owner is tremendous. I was foreigner without good knowledge of county or location and owner was incredibly helpful and friendly assisting in finding my way. Property is clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Location is a bit of a village but if you have car it easy to find and navigate.

Wonderful host, great location & comfortable apartment

Fernando made us feel very welcome and was helpful from the very beginning with recommendations of attractions to visit, restaurants and how to get most out of our trip. The apartment is well sized and suited for anyone looking to visit central and the outskirts of Lisbon. It's well equipped to also cook your own food and make a laundry wash, if necessary. It's located in a quiet area, although some dogs in the area seem to never sleep :) as you tend to hear distant barks throughout some nights. We really enjoyed our stay and would return whenever visiting Lisbon. I would suggest reaching out to Fernando early on, once you've to decide to stay at his place, because his ideas and suggestions could really help planning your trip when in Portugal.

Lovely stay.

Lovely stay with everything we needed. Well equipped house, amazing host. Solid firm bed we liked so much we checked the brand. Very kind and knowledgeable host who was happy to answer any questions we had. A bit out of the way and tricky for getting food delivered, etc, but lovely location otherwise. Full size fridge, stove, oven and washing machine which is nice when traveling with children.

Hemos estado muy cómodos en el alojamiento. Bien comunicado en coche, estás a 20 minutos de Lisboa y a otros 20 de Sintra. La casa está muy bien equipada y tiene todos los electrodomésticos necesarios, y la perrita Layla es un amor.

Great host and location

Fernando is a great host. Very good communication and wonderful recommendations for trips and restaurants. His home is a nice central spot if you have a rental car. Short distance from Sintra, Lisboa and the beaches. The apartment has all you need and very comfortable.
