「There are two Plume of Feathers in Cornwall. If you search for the one in Portscatho on Google this one is likely to show up and I made the mistake in booking it. When I contacted them once I had realised my error they said it was not up to them to refund but Expedia - who I contacted. They were helpful and sympathetic - but they said it was actually at the discretion of the host who they contacted on my behalf but they declined my request. I again contacted the PoF to ask them to reconsider...

We were told we need to inform them before 10am when we checked in and also there was a notice in the room with same information. However when we first went to request room cleaning at 9am, we were informed by a male receptionist that we were too late as we need to inform them before 9am. So room was not...

「The room was adequate but very dark as the only window looked out on a wall. Needed lights on all the time and no view of the grounds at all. The room also had a somewhat unpleasant smell and absolutely no decor. The bed was okay. Restaurant was okay but pricey. Would have welcomed some lighter dinner choices.」
