"Had two nights here, staff really friendly and helpful, room was good and beds were comfy, had a nice meal there. Only downside was the room was above the bar area so a little noisy and room 1 bathroom adjoined ours no 2, it was like they were in the room with us , singing in the bath and some poor ..."

Didn’t see much of Liskeard, but found some decent restaurants not far from the hotel. (I liked the restaurant “Himalayan Spice” which was a short walk from the hotel).

I wouldn't say it was a great place in itself as there isn't a lot there. That said, I enjoyed revisiting some old haunts. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Cornwall, especially without a car, as rail service is decent and on mainline!
