"Beautiful grounds, peaceful and relaxing. All we needed in suite, which was clean and spacious.However;Sofa springs need repair.Bathroom could do with a shelf.Coat-hooks would be great."

"Yes, would rebook this. Settings are beautiful and tranquil. Accommodation was cosy and had good amenities. Do pack rackets or for the tennis court. Even fishing rods as lake is stunning. Bathroom plug needs a seal as you can’t keep water in sink. Kitchen tap needs a tightening. Note to future bookings. Make sure you read up on Electric and having to leave cash. Shops aren’t local for quick draw out of money. A card debit at reception would make it easier."

"Beautiful grounds, peaceful & relaxing. Very dog friendly which is a big plus for us, with a lovely little wood adjoining the grounds for early morning walks. A simple no fuss self check in and out, so no waiting. It made a good base as it is central to the places we wanted to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"I have given this property a 1 star review because when we arrived at the property there were no towels. We were not notified beforehand and only discovered the lack of towels via a letter that was at the property upon arrival. It stated that we had to pre-book towels for an extra charge per person and they were subject to availability. It was stressful. This may sound trivial, but it really isn't - towels are pretty essential. The property is in the country, miles from any shops and we arrived at night. The letter also stated that we needed to pay extra for electricity. Again we were not notified beforehand. I tried to contact the managers but they didn't answer their phones. When one of the managers knocked on the door later in the evening he was surly and unfriendly. He said that I should have known to bring my own towels and that I needed to take it up with the property owner. I found the reservation information on Hotels.com which clearly stated that towels were included and didn't mention payment for electricity. I later received an email from the owner saying that I should have known. It really spoiled the trip. I left a day early and booked to stay somewhere else instead. The dishwasher didn’t work. No basics were provided, e.g. tea, coffee, sugar. The setting is beautiful and I'm sure it would be fine if you take your own towels and expect to pay extra for electricity. "

"We had a fantastic few day’s holiday. A lovely welcome, from friendly owners / neighbours. Excellent communication before stay, including warning that the Wi-Fi might not be fixed in advance of our stay - it was fixed during our stay and worked well. Thank you."

"Sadly we were disappointed with our stay at Rosecraddoc . The grounds are beautiful but accommodation and hosting disappointing. The apartment was clean and had the basics you need in the kitchen and nice bed linen. There are extra charges for wifi and expensive electricity. Biggest disappointment was the touch of luxury of the sauna in the accommodation - this did not work. It was used only to store the hoover and mop and bucket found housed there on arrival. You have to take your own towels and not even a bar of soap to wash your hands is provided in the toilet - rather cleaning product and cloth left out for you, which was kind of the feel and theme of place, starting with the initial meeting with the host - rather than a nice friendly hello we were greeted abruptly and with instructions of how the property should be left, which we appreciate not everyone does respectfully leave it in good order, but it was not the most welcoming of starts and the hosts did not reply to our query re: the broken sauna. The fishing lake is in need of attention as it is currently over-run with lilies ( beautiful to look at, but not good for anglers ) and the website needs updating, there are no facilities in the Rosecraddoc holiday village that can be used as these closed during Covid. We are sad not to be able to recommend; It feels it does not provide the service and value for money on offer elsewhere these days. Sad we cannot recommend."

" The stay was comfort, place was clean, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean facilities. Small touches like a welcome pack, and flowers were great. Furthermore breathtaking mountain not far away and green lush meadows, lakes and pine dense forests make it more attractive. "
