Check in was easy and the staff were very considerate and helpful to inform you of the hotel and where your room was. The rooms are modern and clean which is great. Some small complaints though. The rooms can be very cold and my radiator didn't seem to work. Additionally, this wasnt helped by the fact the shower only seemed to get warm not hot. During my stay there was also no mention by staff of there being a function being on the first floor (the rooms back onto the function room on this level). Which meant due to the noise there was no chance of sleeping till much later in the evening. I appreciate most travellers wouldn't have this issue but as I was staying for work it was not ideal and needed an early start it was not ideal etc.

Welcoming hotel with helpful staff. Lovely old country house, very comfortable bed in delightful upper room with incredible views. Some tired and old decor in breakfast room but other areas well maintained and clean. Disappointed not to have had a shower in the bathroom, only a bath and had to ask for more shower gel and soap as it was not replaced.

Very friendly staff, our room was a little dated but it’s noticeable area of the hotel have been updated so I am guessing it’s would in progress and we just happened to book one of the older rooms. All in all a lovely venue and the food for our functions was delicious with plenty of vegetables choice!

Værelset var rent og rummeligt og med fantastisk udsigt (nr 10), men der var så lidt tryk på vandet, at det ikke var muligt at vaske hår.

Friendly and helpful

This family run hotel is really lovely. Friendliness and care for the guests are clearly the values that drive the business. It’s a beautiful building and our room, on the top floor, was charming and had everything we needed.
