「Cozy cottage... comfortable bed, nice little kitchen. Walk to dinner and local ice cream! Quiet. There are a couple of abandoned/ hoarder looking houses on the same block which initially felt a bit sketchy and a large retail business directly across the street-- but we had absolutely no problems from either and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.」

「Came up for a few days for some recreational activities at Lake Moomaw. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It felt like home with all the amenities. The nearby creek and the fenced in back yard was a plus. The king size bed was absolutely WONDERFUL. The best nights of sleep I've had in years lol. The host was amazing! She gave us suggestions for food and attractions to visit. She told us to call anytime for anything. She was so very sweet and friendly. A jewel she is. ...

「We had a good time here, but there are things that could use improvement. There was a snowstorm the day we were set to arrive and we were not sure if we were going to be able to get to the property. I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. I wish we would have had been notified sooner of the lack of phone service, lack of plowing, and also the fact that there...
