“This is a beautifully appointed cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's in a quiet location looking out onto a courtyard. Although there is no onsite parking, we had no trouble finding a parking space on the square. Visitors should also be aware that there is no outdoor seating area but we were out and about so this wasn't a problem for us. We would recommend the fish and chip place - but go for small fish and chips! The large are for those with a very large appetite! ……

“River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. “Lovely cottage in Fremington. Nicely furnished and exactly as advertised. Kitchen has a washer/dryer which is very handy and a dishwasher. Nice bathroom with shower over bath and plentiful hot water. Beds really comfortable and loads of space upstairs. Underfloor heating in lounge was a treat and wood burner lovely on a cold February night. Enclosed front garden, made it easy for the dogs and would be nice to sit out in the summer. “A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend ”

“We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.”
