「Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. Everything you could ask for was available for cooking in the kitchen with more than enough glasses and tableware in excellent condition. 「We immediately settled right in and relaxed. The dogs loved it too! The wood stove kept things nice and warm inside the cabin despite it being in the 30s outside. Nearby hiking and activities were great. The wolf Conservatory, Lions Tigers and Bears, Lake Cuyamaca, and Julian were all visited and thoroughly enjoyed. Great spot for a weekend getaway!」

「A great spot to stay for two nights while we did the 16 mile Goat Trestle Bridge hike. Comfortable, clean, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The grounds are wonderful with hiking trails, pools, hot tub, and a fun bar / restaurant. Would definitely reccomend and would stay again. 」
