“Very friendly and nice room”

“Lovely place to stay just a short drive from Pickering. Helpful friendly staff. Very quiet location. We enjoyed dining in the restaurant and a drink at the bar. Breakfast was good too. Comfortable nicely furnished room. Highly recommended.”

“We had a really enjoyable stay at Townend Farm and Julie was extremely helpful booking a meal at the Tiger Inn and also giving us information about local bus services The breakfast was a really good standard and cooked perfectly . Our only concern was that the rooms were on the second floor with steep staircases which made it difficult to carry suitcases and to access the rooms.Perhaps it might be worth pointing out on the website Thankyou Julie for a lovely stay ”

“Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs.”

“Room was clean although some area in bathroom need touching up. It was satisfactory for our short stay & reasonably priced. Staff welcoming on arrival. Great to have pub next door to get breakfast & dinner when needed.”

“Good hotel in a stunning area. Hotel is very dated with anaglypta wallpaper and old fashioned shower about a metal bath. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food very good especially the breakfast although evening menu is a little limited”
