Hotels is closed

This hotel is closed so please dont book here, we arrived and it was shut down. However, Hotels.com sorted it out for us in the end and got us a different hotel instead. Am also hoping they remove the hotel from their site. Although we had to stay at 2 different hotels due to availability, I am always pleased with hotels.com customer service and happy but dissappinted because its the second time weve had an issue. The last time we booked (different hotel) the hotel was overbooked when we got there but hotels.com also sorted that out for us too so I will definitely book with them again even though these bad experiences (probly not a usual occurance) just because I know how good they are at sorting the problem out, its annoying what happened but knowing they will do anything to fix the problem means i wont hesitate to book with them again but next time I will still book through hotels.com but will phone ahead direct to the hotel to make sure they definately exist and have a room for us. It takes quite a while to sort out problems on the phone with them but they get it done and always nice staff

There was no stay the hotel has been closed for 5 months yet hotels.com are still taking booking and im having major problems getting my money back.

Host was very welcoming. Photos don’t do the rooms justice. They look well sized, but when entering the room you notice there is plenty more space than expected. Receptionist was more than happy to help with ideas where to eat and helping us understand the nearby locations.

On Friday the 30 when we reached to hotel to check in realised Hotel is closed since July, we had no information about it. We have to make search to find other place , luckily there was Premier Inn locally and they had Vacancy. I thought hotel should have informed about there closer. I am going to check my Barclay card statement if I have payment in advance? Please reply to this mail. Regards.

one room had awful smell in the toilet and room, other room had blinds that were allowing much light through making sleep difficult. Breakfast had croissants and pain au chocolat wrapped in plastic as well as a lot of other plastic that in this day really should not be used anymore in order to take care of the environment. Also there was no hotel parking.

Upon checking in to my room, found a note telling me that there would be 'entertainment' in the bar below 'until late' Until 2:40am! The management knew about this 'entertainment' well in advance, why did they not inform me and give me the chance to cancel when I made my booking?

The room was very clean and well presented. There was a note on the bed on arrival day warning that there was an event that night which may be noisy for guests. There wasn't. However, there was one the following night. There was no indication that the hotel was iopen to the public on Saturday nights until late for revelkling when I booked. I don't actually mind, but it is rather intimidating to return to the hotel to find a queue waiting to get in. A better system for actual guests would be more inviting. Similarly, the event made it difficult to get to the bar for a drink and more consideration for paying guests would be better. To compound this there was no hot water the following morning so I couldn't shower. The response from staff was that they were looking in to it but there was no sense of urgency. I paid for an ensuite but it impossible to shower. One other small gripe, sorry, but having made myself a coffe on Saturday morning, I found that the coffee wasn't replaced when I went to do the sam on Sunday morning. Small details like this are poor customer service.

No problems finding hotel, right in centre. Big problem NO CAR PARK, this was not mentioned anywhere when booking. Multi storey, had to drag cases etc through the streets. Rooms clean and comfortable, my room on the 1st floor overlooked the street, this was fine, until 2am in the morning and woken up by drunken party going on. Not happy and tired. Had early 7am start for a well being event, no breakfast available until 8am again not happy. Yes central location, use train or bus and don’t have a schedule to follow.
