「My wife and I both agreed that the overnight stay we had there was very good, everything you could have wanted was there, the bed was lovely and the room was spot on. The next morning we went down to the restuarant and to an excellent breakfast. All in all we would have no hesitation in staying there again.」

「We had a very warm welcome from the friendly staff and were shown to the room which was clean and bright. The food that evening was excellent, and as it was a warm evening we spent a pleasant time sitting outside with our drinks afterwards. 「It was very good value and in a very beautiful area. The maintenance of the building was outstanding. No lift and, at 80, I found that a bit of a struggle. But will return - and breakfast was good value.」

「Location is great. Hote Is basic as reflected in price as well as reviews. Restaurant at hotel was terribly understaffed - only one chef. Took an hour and 20 mins for food to arrive. Secondly, there was no daily cleaning or towel change and was not mentioned clearly.」

「Perfect base for us」

「We had a lovely stay. Our room was perfect for us….lovely comfy bed and a small courtyard where we had dinner delivered! We were lucky that the weather was very warm too. Our dogs were very happy and calm and safe there . I would happily recommend this room (2) for anyone travelling with dogs. Thank you Wynnstay and staff, you made our trip really comfortable.」

「The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Only thing is the TV signal was not working but this could have been easily due to the massive thunderstorm we were having at the time which was far more beautiful to watch. I would definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money.」

「It's situated in a great spot in a really vibrant friendly village The rooms on the 4th floor are very hot and they had no a/c of a fan available. The very small window only partially opened, enough for flies to come in but little breeze I recommended that the hotel provide the upper floors with fans always Had a good snack at the hotel Lots of places to go for dinner and drinks nearby」

「The property is old beams, four poster beds, sloping floors, beautiful property nice restaurant local to shops pubs and staff young and very helpful and polite nothing too much trouble, our room had a king size 4 poster bed high but very comfortable good shower too, definitely be going back again food was very good also and when you stay you get 10% off food and drink」
