“Great location, 15 min walk to the game. It was a lil hard to find the apartment, but mostly due to us not understanding how to read the address correctly. The infloor heating was a nice addition.”

“This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. “The overall aspect of the property was misleading, the property wasn't of a standard that I would expect from a Vrbo property or any rental property, the cleanliness was far from acceptable, massive cobwebs in a few rooms, stains on carpets, rugs that we really a bad trip hazards, the one at the top of the stairs which we moved, sofa bed not fit for purpose, stains on bedding, dishwasher didn't clean properly, no welcome pack, lights in the small bedroom wasn't working, mold and grime build up……

“Amazing! Helens' cottage is beautiful. A hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious ,clean ,and everything you need is there and all good quality. Don't let the 4ft bed put you off, it's so comfy and you'd be missing out on a fantastic break. It's peaceful, amazing views, walks. Only a short walk to Llangollen, such a pretty town. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it .Helens' attention to detail is no less than perfect.”

“Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor……

“The accommodation is very well equipped and had everything that we needed for our stay. It was like a home from home and has been very well thought out. The house is just a short walk from a large supermarket, bus station and selection of bars and restaurants. Our family took a bus into Liverpool and also toured North Wales and went to Chester Zoo nearby during our stay. We would highly recommend this property.”
