Perfect Secluded Getaway

This was a great escape for a couple nights. Plenty of beautiful scenery to see while exploring all the trails in Hocking Hills. The home was comfortable and clean. Would definitely return.

Hiking getaway

This was our first hike taking our grandchildren ages 4-10. This place exceeded our expectations. We loved the fishing pond, the pavilion to eat and play games, the hot tub, the spacious outdoor area for kids to play, and plenty of room for all to sleep. The communication was great with the owners too. We would definitely go there again and highly recommend it.

The Evans' family vacation

The hosts were extremely nice people. The cabin was very clean, they provided us with anything you could think of inside. The location was perfect. It was so secluded but yet close to town. The shelter house with grill was awesome! They even put new tin foil inside the grill! The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Even during the process of applying for the cabin I felt confident that I was communicating with a owner who is compassionate and welcoming. The cabin surpassed our expectations of the property and the quality of the furnishing are excellent. We had the best nights sleep that we have had in years all three nights that we were their guests. I recommend the owners and appreciate their humor and wit in explaining the rules of the cabin.

Beautiful cabib

The cabin is perfect, the area is perfect! All the amenities were perfect such a great kitchen to make lots of amazing dinners! The only thing that was a negative is I thought we rented a private fishing pond. We hung hammocks by the pond and tried relaxing while the kids slept but a bunch of kids from the cabin across kept coming to the pond playing and being loud when my kids would go to go fishing they would over take our pond and shelter which made me uneasy because we didn't feel comfortable leaving our stuff out at our private shelter. Only thing I wish they made it clear to other cabins the property's are private and they can't be loud and over take other people's area

Secluded Get Away

We brought our six kids to this little cabin in the woods and had a great time! The private fishing pond was a hit, and with access to Hocking Hills, we were able to spend the day hiking. Hosts were great.

Reconnecting

The property is peaceful and beautiful. The house is very clean, and cozy. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the "solarium" (room off the kitchen with beautiful views) in the mornings having coffee and talking. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he was so gracious and welcoming. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all and enjoy the quiet and beautiful countryside, I would highly recommend staying here.
