Ponderosa Cabin is a secluded cabin on a hilltop with a half a mile driveway. It's located 1 mile and 8/10s from Old Man's Cave State Park in Hocking Hills(1 mile hike through the property)Enjoy our 2-bedroom, one bath cabin with an electric fireplace. 50" tv with satellite and antenna channels along with wireless internet. Full kitchen with cooking utensils and tableware. Enjoy the 6-person hot tub on large, covered porch with outdoor furniture. Fire ring and gas grill with large yard. WE ALSO HAVE TWO OTHER CABINS ON THE PROPERTY /STARR VALLEY AND DAKOTA TRAIL ,BOTH ARE SIMULAR IN SIZE BUT CLOSER TO THE PARK off Sr 664 . All the guests enjoy the seclusion ,privacy and large area for children and pets . $50.00 pet fee per stay, don't forget to check ✅ the box .(click the box that says Travelers,then the pets 🐕 box comes up .

Secluded , simple and relaxing place to get away
Overall it was a great experience! Very private location. Loved the hot tub. Perfect size for us. Close location to parks. Had almost everything we needed. Could have been a little cleaner. Bath tub didn't drain. Dish drainer was disgusting, had to clean it ourselves in order to use. Lots of dead bugs behind the bed and in the crevices. Had trouble with the tv remote.

Convenient and Comfy
Great place to relax after hiking the nearby trails. Beds were very comfortable, and kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was great and would fit 2-3 people comfortably. Only issue we had were some bees on the porch and the owner responded super fast and took care of it. This is a great location, quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful property! Private. Enjoyed the hot tub and gas fireplace. Some inexpensive items that would have improved our experience would be a night light for the bathroom and a dish rack. We couldn't find the remote for the tv and could have used more towels. I liked that hand soap and dish soap were available.

Relaxing Break from the World
We had a great long weekend at the Ponderosa! Communication was great and the property is fantastic! We could quickly drive to many spots in the state park and forest as well as local shops (coffee shop, ice cream).

Excellent Stay
My wife and I and 2 dogs enjoyed our stay. Cabin was perfect, we enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking and cabin had everything we needed. Very close proximity to hiking trails and lots of room on property for the dogs. We would stay again.

The Great Escape
The Ponderosa was a beautiful mountain top location for our escape. We were looking for a peaceful, secluded place to unplug and relax for a few days. We found the perfect place. Every amenity we needed was available. All the adventure we wanted was close by.
