The Reception Staff were very good and the member of staff on Sunday was exceptionally polite and helpful. Whilst I appreciate I was staying in a single room, it felt like a cupboard, I was able to touch 2 walls at the same time, and I am not tall or have long arms! The carpet was dirty, the room had a very unpleasant smell, it was a basement room so perhaps it was due to that. The en-suite was tiny, the basin extremely small and there was no plug. The staff at breakfast were unaware that I was a coeliac and required a gluten free meal, despite noting the requirement when I booked the room. I can only say that I was very glad my stay was for only one night and I will not be going back again.

This hotel was marvellous for my budget. Greeted by a warm receptionist and a beverage, comfortable beds and very clean. The closeness to Paddington station was very handy too!

Die Dame, die im viel zu kleinen Frühstücksbereich, stets über 20 Gäste betreut hat, war bewundernswert, freundlich und hatte alles mit Seelenruhe im Griff. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für 1-2 Nächte war alles, ob der Lage zu Paddington Station, ausreichend, für einen längeren Aufenthalt, wäre alles zu klein.

Great location and staff

Extremely friendly and courteous staff, who helped our family of 3 get into a room early after an overnight flight into Heathrow. The location is excellent, just a few blocks from Paddington station, but on a quiet street. The complementary breakfast is quite good - full English or cereal. The room itself was a bit small, but very clean and in good shape, with a small fridge, kettle for heating water, and tea/coffee. Beds were firm, which is how we like them. Overall a great value, and i would definitely stay again.

Better than espected

Rooms are being done up gradually, so may look unfinished, but perfectly adequate and useable. There is no lift, but reception staff are happy to help with luggage. Breakfast is good - the usual continental buffet, with full English available, and sent up from the kitchen to order, so is piping hot - no rubbery scrambled egg or dried up bacon. The lady working in the breakfast room is an absolute treasure, so helpful and obliging. I'd give her 12 out of 10!!

Great little hotel , rooms are small but nice and clean , good breakfast and great service from the staff especially from Kev on reception who is a legend Bit noisy at night from the main road but hey , it’s London! Yes it would be nice to have a lift but there isn’t the room for one so be aware you will have to jump your luggage up a few stairs All in all, at the price you can’t complain !

Don’t stay

Place has nice breakfast and staff is friendly. That’s about it. We paid for double room which is located at lower level but we got the top floor. Hotel has no ac and it is not advertised . We were stuck with fan and it was hot. Bathroom is so tiny and not superbly clean.

Die Lage nahe an der Paddington Station und zu vielen guten Restaurants und Pubs ist wirklich hervorragend. Es war dennoch eine ruhige und sichere Umgebung. Leider wurden wir statt im gebuchten Admiral Hotel zuerst im Nachbarhotel Kingsway Park Hotel untergebracht. Hier wurden wir im 3. Stock untergebracht und es war wirklich schrecklich. Es war unmenschlich heiß und viel zu klein für 4 Personen. Am ersten Abend fiel noch das Licht aus. Hierfür wurden uns dann vier Bier angeboten. Das Hotelzimmer war eigentlich nur für zwei Personen ausgelegt. Es wurden einfach zwei weitere Betten darin verfrachtet. Dadurch hatte man überhaupt keinen Platz für die Koffer oder persönliche Sachen. Auf unseren Wunsch das Zimmer zu wechseln bzw. gleich in unser eigentlich gebuchtes Hotel einziehen zu können wurde vorerst nicht eingegangen. Nachdem wir die Probleme nochmals vorgetragen haben, durften wir am zweiten Abend dann das Hotel wechseln. Hier war das Zimmer dann um einiges besser. Das Personal war grundsätzlich nett und hilfsbereit.
