  • A studio in a detached house with it's own entrance and bathroom. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, only a 7 minute walk to Cockfosters Underground station (Piccadilly line).

    Local Attractions:
    • Trent Park (lies in 413 acres of meadows, brooks, lakes, ancient woodland, and historical sites)
    • Trent Park Public Golf Club.
    • Cockfosters Bowling Club.
    • Pymmes Brook Trail (10 mile long path that joins other trails)
    • Ferny Hill Farm (traditional English farm with a shop and tea room serving breakfast and lunch)
    - 24hr Petrol station steps away with a mini supermarket

    Getting around
    Walking distance (7min) to Cockfosters Underground station (Piccadilly line) which takes about 25min to Kings Cross Station. The Piccadilly line also goes directly to Heathrow airport.
    Also the following bus routes are in the vicinity:
    o 298 (Arnos Grove Station to Potters Bar)
    o 610 (Luton to Enfield Town)
    o 611 (Hatfield to Enfield Town)

Good location for what we were doing. The studio space was good, with kettle and microwave. The bathroom was nice with a good shower. The only problem we had was the bed. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The studio was probably larger than most hotels rooms we've been in, maybe a proper bed should be installed with two chairs.

Overall, I appreciated my stay. What was a challenge was more on behalf of Expedia. I put in where I needed to be and this was an option. It was over an hour away from the event that I came for. The property was super cute. I was shocked that there was no actual bed. It was a pull out couch instead of a bed. I am not strong enough to manage a pull out so I slept on it as a couch. There was no air conditioning. Luckily the neighborhood was safe enough to open the windows. As a traveler, that scared me. I was concerned about birds and insects flying in. It was also on ground level. I was also concerned about the owners being in the other side of the house. I could hear them moving around. In their defense, they were not loud nor obtrusive. They gave me my privacy, it was just a different experience. I would have loved to explore the back yard, sit outside and enjoy the property but I was not comfortable since it was their actual home. I didn’t know what the rules were of the property. It may seem as though I didn’t enjoy my stay, that’s not the case. Now that I know the property, know how to navigate the town, I would stay again.
