Had a very pleasant 9 night stay in colourful, vibrant Camden Town—the host Marco and his team are very accommodating, responsive & provided excellent guidance & detailed information from the booking to check-out. The flat was very clean, with comfortable bed, ample towels and sheets, fully equipped kitchen, and good-sized rooms. Ample restaurants, cafes, pubs, grocery stores, convenience stores with quick & easy access to public transportation (tubes & buses). As a solo female traveller l felt at ease walking alone even at night. Close to Regents Park and a few steps to the Grand Union Canal. Thank you Marco for being an excellent host. Would definitively stay here again!

The space was as advertised. Great location and amenities. Check in and check out procedures were very straightforward and the hosts provided lots of clear guidance about the property. One recommendation for the owners - I’d highly suggest putting a table or additional towel rack or hook in the bathroom. Not much counter space in there! Overall, great home base for a London trip for a couple or small group!

We flew early in the morning so this was a great bonus!We had everything we needed in the apartment for our stay. There were some great restaurants close by as well as a small market to grab some essentials.Would definitely book again.Casa Tua Camden was an amazing little Italian restaurant and only 2 mins away.Selene Persian& Grill Restaurant was within 4 mins and was great as well!

Exterior and entry way trashy in appearance. Werewolf taproom stone's throw from living room; overground train outside of window. Noisy neighbors; frequent smell of weed. Ideal location in clean, fresh and modern flat

The 1 BR flat is in a block of 3 other flats in Camden just off Royal College Street (nice pub) and short walk to Camden tube station Northern Line giving quick access to all of central London. AS a single female, I felt very safe in the area. The flat is fresh, clean and spacious with fully equipped kitchen. Sainsbury's and M&S are easy walking distance for getting groceries. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely choose this flat again.

Great stay in Camden

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO in Camden Town! The property was very clean and well-maintained, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the start. The location was incredibly convenient — just a short walk to both the Overground and Tube stations, making it easy to get around London. It’s also just minutes away from Camden Market, so there was always something exciting to explore nearby. Overall, a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy the vibrant energy of Camden while having a clean, quiet place to come back to. Highly recommend!

Terrific transit links!!!

The two weeks my husband and I spent in Marco’s Camden flat flew by as we travelled all over London on one of the many Camden Road buses. In the neighbourhood we loved the High Street’s M&S Food Hall bakery, the Chicken and leek pie and Wednesday Quiz Nights at the Colonel Fawcett pub, and the ease of transit whether by tube, overland or bus. The apartment had a comfortable bed and sleeper sofa with top quality sheets and towels. There was plentiful hot water and good water pressure for our showers. The appliances are all full size, but we only used the fridge and microwave. (I don’t cook when I’m on vacation.) Do pack ear plugs, though, if you’re a light sleeper as there is another holiday rental flat above you. Thanks go to Marco and his team for quickly responding to all of our questions.

Camden Town Retreat

Just out of the busy bussle of the Camden area. Walk to everything, even King's Cross, about 25 minutes along the Canal. Quiet oasis. Colonel Fawcett pub within baseball range. Stylish accommodation with everything you need. Made several dinners, Sainsbury's a 5 minute walk away. Full grocery store! Needed when one stays in London for a time. £££. Comfortable and surprising. The entran seece needs a facelift, but inside it's solid. Marco and his team were timely when I mentioned some pot lights out. Done. Perfect for 2 or 3 . Could handle more but why? Would certainly stay again, but the Planet is large and one needs to look beyond. Comfortable stay...change entrance, Team!!

Delightful stay!

Delightful stay at this lovely flat in Camden with my wife and kids, recently refurbished - much better than the actual pics, great design with a fireplace that is not shown in pics. Location couldn't have been better, in very quiet residential area only a5-10min the vibrant center of Camden, the bustling markets , it provided convenient access to all the local attractions and amenities.There are a lot of restaurants, bars and coffee shops nearby. Moreover, the kitchen was fully stocked, and the living space was spacious with a large comfortable sofa bed for our children. Host's incredible support and responsiveness. They were quick to respond and provided detailed instructions for check-in, making the process seamless. They were always available to assist with any queries and ensured we had everything we needed. Great place, great area, great host. Highly recommended!

Nice, quiet, good area

Marco and crew are among the most attentive managers we have had the pleasure of dealing with. The flat is not luxurious, as is stated, but perfectly fine with comfortable bed, sofa, etc. The location is excellent with a note that it is right under the Overground, but which didn't bother us at all. The outside of the building could use work. We will happily use this property again when staying in this area. We are rating this 5* based on our overall experience and with grateful thanks to Marco.

We discovered this large cosmopolitan and lively city with great pleasure. We greatly appreciated the blend of past and present architecture, which is very well done. Die Bilder versprechen mehr als die Wohnung hält.

Insbesondere das Bild von der Haustür vermittelt einen sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Dies aber keinesfalls der Fall. Als wir davor standen, haben wir uns ernsthaft gefragt, ob wir an der richtigen Adresse sind. Die Mülltonnen lagen kreuz und quer, überall lag Schutt und Müll und der gesamte Hauseindruck wirkt ziemlich runtergekommen. Zunächst die positiven Fakten: - Der Vermieter bereitet alle Unterlagen hervorragend auf! - Die Wohnungsübernahme funktioniert prima. - Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. - Das WLan funktioniert reibungslos Nun die leider überwiegenden negativen Dinge: Das größte Manko der Wohnung ist das Schlafzimmer im Anbau. Die Wände sind eiskalt weshalb das Bett auch überall von der Wand wegsteht. Das Oberlicht am Fenster lässt sich nur einen spaltbreit öffnen, d.h. es muss im Winter viel geheizt werden ohne richtig lüften zu können. Dadurch bildet sich Schimmel, der an einigen Stellen auch deutlich sichtbar war. Auch im Badezimmer waren Schimmelspuren zu sehen. Zu dem befindet sich der Temperaturfühler der Heizung im Wohnzimmer, welches 2 - 3 Grad wärmer ist. Die Wohnung liegt DIREKT an einer Overground-Strecke. Wird bei der Beschreibung natürlich nicht erwähnt und wir haben leider nicht darauf geachtet. Das normale Wohnungsschloss hat nicht funktioniert. Lediglich das oberhalb angebrachte Sicherheitsschloss war nutzbar. Dieses war dafür dermaßen schwergängig, dass meine Frau und meine Tochter es nicht aufbekommen haben. Fazit: Nicht Nochmals!

I booked this stay for work colleagues and they arrived after an overnight flight from the US. The flat was dirty, stained, with mouse droppings and smelled. Unacceptable and completely misrepresented the flat.

A little disappointing

We found the flat to be in a pretty dodgy area and the front of the flat had garbage on the footpath and overall looked shabby. We also had to make a stop before to pickup the keys from a convenience store which was weird as we were expecting someone to be there to meet us. The heat was a problem also with it being very cold in the main bedroom, the radiator got barely hot enough and we were pretty cold throughout the night. The location is central though with just a few minutes walk to the tube station and on a central line which was convenient. The host was as helpful as he could be and was communicative but the lack of heat in the bedroom and the shabbiness of the exterior are dealbreakers for us.

Great stay in Camden

The flat was a great start to discover London. The importants things like undergroud-station, overground-station, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, Camdon Town, Regent Canal, Kings Cross etc are in the near. The flat war very clean and has a good equpiment. The communikation with the team form the flat was very comfortable.

I'm glad we stayed here

The property was exactly as described, extremely clean and perfect for the two of us. Overall, it was quiet although one night, the neighbors allowed their child to be noisy in the hall. Having a kitchen and washer was a huge help to us. The location is close to public transportation (overground, underground and bus stops). There's also a large grocery store (Sainsbury) within easy walking distance. The refrigerator and freezer in the apartment were quite large and easily held our groceries. There are good restaurants nearby. Casa Tua was our favorite and we also enjoyed King of Falafel for a quick take-home meal. The coffee shops are also very nice. We especially enjoyed The Living Room on Camden Road. Poppie's was cute and had very good fish and chips. Camden High Street is a short walk away where there are lots of food and shopping choices. Marco and the management team were wonderful to work with. They are truly the most organized group I've met when renting a VRBO! They sent a packet of information as soon as we completed our reservation. They responded to all of my questions quickly and were available to help, if we needed them during our stay.

Unterkunft Top Lage

Schöne Unterkunft in Top Lage! U-Bahnstation und Bushaltestellen befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Trotzdem sind die Verkehrsgeräusche gering. Einige Take-Aways, kleine Läden, ein netter Pub und ein großer Supermarkt befinden sich ebenfalls in der Nachbarschaft. Nur ein kleiner Spaziergang am Regents Canal entlang und man ist direkt im Trubel des Camden Market! Wir waren zu viert für 3 Übernachtungen dort, dafür fanden wir die Wohnung perfekt. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt fände ich es zu beengt. Auf den Fotos sieht die Wohnung grösser aus, aber das kennt man ja von den meisten Ferienwohnungen. Von Vorteil wären ein paar mehr Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Handtücher und wenigstens eine kleine Ablagemöglichkeit auf der linken Bettseite. Ein Steckdosenadapter ist vorhanden, aber nicht für deutsche Stecker! Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat super funktioniert. Die grosse Bettdecke fanden besonders unsere beiden Kinder nicht so toll, aber das eben in einigen Ländern normal. Die Betten sind gut, wir haben alle gut geschlafen!
