Arrived Easter Sunday. Check in was a breeze, lady at the front desk was very nice and pleasant to talk to.
Around 8pm, called the reception to ask for complimentary water, if available, the guy who answered was rude and told us that the room we booked didn’t include free water. It would’ve been just ok if he told us nicely but it sounded like he’s intimidating us for booking a basic room.
Other cons for this hotel are:
1.) It’s nowhere near the Waterloo Station, therefore should not be named Novotel Waterloo. Novotel Lambeth Palace would be appropriate.
2.) Sink and shower are always clogged. You have wait for at least 30 minutes before you can use them again, otherwise it will overflow/flood.
3.) Bedside USB is useless/not working.
4.) Too many noisy kids running in the hallway and the floor above us.
5.) Breakfast area is very small so the line to get a table is very long every morning. You have to go early to avoid the line. We didn’t know the first time so it took us an hour to have breakfast which would’ve been just 20 minutes.
6.) Very few walkable restaurants, have to order delivery most of the time.
Overall not recommended! Premier Inn would’ve been better for half the price.
