While not terrible for the price, and in decent condition, the cumbersome unmanned check-in process, Spartan exterior, lack of a front desk, and poor soundproofing (for a hotel next to a train station, a busy road and a number of bars) lead to an experience that could be best described as ‘adequate’.

Unique and comfortable stay. Lovely location next to Waterloo. Room was bigger than it looked online. Check it was good (contact them for checking instructions prior to your stay) It’s really not as loud as people say (yes there’s some noise from the trains)

Really happy with the room for the price paid. Not huge, but perfectly adequate for getting a good night's sleep and the black out blind was great for keeping out the early morning sun.

Good privacy, accessibility to markets & public transit. Property is relatively clean. The pillow case had a funky smell, likely from the wash.

Great location and nice facility. Slightly grubby floors round the edges and the safe didn’t work. The washing machines had big loads on that took hours - so it was hard to get access.

Overall, very good location and value. The room is clean and modern with microwave, utensils , refrigerator and even a dishwasher. Even though the room is next to the train tracks, we barely hear anything.

Great property, great location! I know some people complain about the train noise, but there’s a door you can close for sound and I sleep with white noise so it was no bother at all. The curtain is essentially blackout which was awesome! Loved having a kitchenette and a washer and dryer onsite. Communicating the time of the early checkin I paid for could have been cleaner but everything else was smooth and easy! Would absolutely stay here again.

Having read some negative reviews, I was slightly worried about door codes, broken blinds, etc. However, it couldn't have been easier than the codes delivered promptly, clear directions, lift up, easy access to the room and everything I could need for a short stay whilst my husband was in the hospital. The air conditioning was lovely on such a hot day. The location was excellent. Would stay again!

Overall I enjoyed my stay and thought the bed was very comfortable. Also enjoyed having the kitchenette. Great location on a cute street. I could see how noise sensitive people might find the noise from the trains difficult when sleeping, but it didn’t bother me. Overall a great stay
