Don’t be fooled. Photographer deserves a medal for making budget renovations look high end. All that new paint, yet you can feel the shape of the last guest in the old mattress. 4 floor walk up. Full inch gap under door made of paper. Bedside light switches are 10ft from the bed. And they advertised amenities they don’t have, then offer a beer to make up for your wasted half day doing laundry elsewhere.
What they’ll say: “We didn’t know it said we had laundry on Expedia!” (hotels have full control of this info, it’s their fault) “We offered a discount on next stay!” (I won’t be back) “Newly renovated!” (By someone’s uncle) “it’s only 3 flights if stairs!” (Each is 30 steps)
Only redeeming qualities are the lovely staff and the lamb pie.
This is my first review, I simply can’t let this one go, for your sake. Trust your instincts, book that other hotel. You won’t regret it.
