“I was only here for one night and truly wished I spent my entire stay at the Clerk & Well. What a home-away-from-home! So cozy, quaint, spacious, and spotless! Top-notch hospitality from the entire staff. The neighborhood is also so lovely and central with lots of cute blocks to explore great restaurants and wine bars. I am so happy to have found this gem of a hotel. Thank you!”

“Disappointing experience, it's hard to imagine this room costs £180. The floor creaks. The air conditioner is broken, the safe has no batteries, and the air conditioner remote has no batteries. The room is small, and there is guitar playing downstairs early in the morning, making it impossible to sleep. The sound insulation is poor, and you can often hear laughter from the next room. The hallway is very narrow. It feels damp. It is also far from the city center. I would definitely not choose……

“Friendly and helpful staff, good value for money in the expensive London. Transportation to the city centre is just around the corner. There is no elevator in the building and may be difficult to carry your luggages to the 2/F through the narrow staircase.”

“The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. Just the bed on one side was uncomfortable (broken spring I would imagine). Otherwise, excellent stay. Dinner was excellent also. ”
