The room was the tiniest I have ever seen. Everything was adequate but a bit challenging. Not even electric outlets to run a coffee pot and charge a phone. No elevator and three floors up steep stairs

Terrible smell coming from bathroom room 109! Smelled like half poo, half dead animal? So bad I could not keep bathroom door open. I think coming from sink drain. Asked property to fix and they closed the sink stopper. That helped a bit.

Room is too tiny. I don't know why a double bed is placed in such a tiny room. There is almost no place to stand. A lesson learned: only book hotels with clear Room Size specified. No elevator from 2nd floor to the 4th floor. It is super tiring to clim up 2 floors after a day's exploration. Everyday, I had to take the tube to get to the city center. I don't recommend Paddinton for 1st time travellers to London. Covent Garden and Southbank would be way nicer. I was blinded by the Marriott brand. This hotel totally ruined my trip to London. I could stayed in much nicer hotels in premium locations for the price I paid.

Pictures are very deceptive

My first room was on the second floor, but the micro-sized elevator only stopped between floors. That meant dragging luggage up narrow stairs. The room itself was so tiny I couldn’t even stretch my legs properly. On the plus side, the TV worked and there was a nice park view — but the noise and lack of space made it impossible to sleep. The second room was on the ground floor. It was still tiny, but at least the bed was bigger. Unfortunately, the TV was broken, the windows couldn’t be shut, and the noise from people partying in the park past 10 PM was extremely loud. The carpet in both rooms showed lots of stains, and there was no space to open a carry-on or luggage except on the bed. Neither room had size information listed, and in no way does this qualify as a 3.5-star hotel as advertised. At best, this is a 1 to 2-star property. The only positive: the staff were nice. Either room had no room size information listed And in no way this is a 3.5 stars hotel as listed More like a 1-star, 1.5 stars, or 2 stars top! The staff were nice

Clean but I’d not return

No prior warning biometrics are necessary. Walk up narrow uneven staircases as elevator only goes to 2 floor. Reception was friendly but utterly unhelpful. I 2as told “just go on up to your room” with no direction on how to get there. I had to ask. No offerto take my luggage up. Internet did not work well. Had to enter the code to my room several tiimes beffore it opened. Virtually no luggage storage if you arrive early or want to leave a bit later. Room was clean and cool and quiet but Iwould not stay again. It’s not considerately thought out and run operation. I was surprised it’s a Marriott property.
