Exuding old-world charm, this tranquil three-bedroom home lies at the inflection point between town and country. With leafy, laidback Wimbledon Village right on your doorstep and trains to central London from nearby Wimbledon station, all tastes are catered for in this pastoral southside suburb...

Cheerful interiors, plush carpets and an exposed brick fireplace infuse the living room with warmth and conviviality. With a well-stocked bookshelf to thumb through, you won’t need too much convincing to curl up with a diverting read each evening. A further reception area leads out to the dining room and offers talented musicians every excuse to flaunt their talents at the refined Bentley piano, overlooked by striking wall art and a shelf teeming with ornamental curios.

Cool mint hues are in plentiful supply in the traditional kitchen which leads out to this home’s pièce de résistance: a magnificent walled garden garnished with potted plants, a manicured lawn and two al-fresco seating areas. With that idyllic scene awaiting you outside, it’s little wonder the bedrooms are the essence of grace and zen-like calm with their neutral tones and delicate ambient lighting. Guests fortunate enough to be staying in the principal bedroom can drift into a restful sleep atop a striking gold-plated bed before waking gently to enchanting vistas across the garden from the adjoining terrace. The en-suite bathroom is generously appointed with a large walk-in shower whilst the larger family bathroom down the hallway is equipped with a large bathtub and built-in shower.

Anyone for tennis? Sports enthusiasts will find themselves extremely well served by this home’s location, only a five-minute drive from the hallowed grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. With an off-street parking space for one car, you'll be in the village within no time.

However, you don’t need Wimbledon fortnight to recreate a somewhat authentic SW19 experience here. Ensconce yourself in the exquisite garden here with a generous helping of strawberries and cream and chilled glass of Pimm’s. You’ll find it almost every bit as invigorating as a plum seat at Centre Court on finals weekend...

Cute house, well equipped, up to date and great location.

Veeve was the local agent, they were awesome to work with. Would recommend this rental. The house is modern, spacious and well equipped. Excellent location, close to Wimbledon Village, the park and the metro/train station. Well done.
