10/10 Excellent

"This was a great place to stay. Everything was clean, well maintained, and staff was nice. Only slight downside was the beds are a bit too firm for our liking, however some people prefer that. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area especially with the lack of options for the area. Most places in Lone Star and Daingerfield are the slums. This was a nice diamond to find."

"We had such a wonderful stay. The location had very quick access to the little town of Jefferson. Our room was a little cottage. Very beautiful. It had everything needed for a perfect weekend stay. Tommy and Nicole, the owners, were very gracious and made sure our stay was perfect. The breakfast served in the mornings were first class. We will definitely be back."

"Another great getaway stay for me and my wife at the Carriage House in Jefferson! It has been many years since our last stay, and this one was just as good as the last. We stayed in the cottage across the street, and enjoyed the seclusion/privacy. As always, the breakfast was amazing! They do such a great job. We also have a great time exploring the many shops in downtown Jefferson."

Sunset Cove - Lake O' The Pines / Crystal Cove

"This was a beautiful spot on the lake. The home is clean and comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy. The kitchen has all of the basics to cook a meal but there are also plenty of great restaurants nearby. We HIGHLY recommend Austin St Bistro in Jefferson. The water in the cove is clean and calm. This lake is definitely a hidden gem as there were very few boats or people seen over our week long stay. The neighborhood is charming and the neighbors were friendly. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in the area:)"

"The property was exactly as listed and the host was very helpful answering questions. My family enjoyed the space especially the porch and the dock. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and all appliances worked! The house was clean and neat when we arrived and the yard was well kept. We ate already planning to return!"
