「A grade II listed property in a historical part of Shepton Mallet. Took time to read up on the area, would recommend everyone to do that, very interesting. Comfortable bed, clean room and great hosts. Some noise from the road adjacent to the Inn, not a deal breaker. Would I stay here again Yes. 」

「Lovely property, very spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath. The bath filters needed cleaning as left some residue in the bath when turned on and the blind on the door was broken, but it was shut so that wasn’t terrible and neither detracted from our stay. Loved the room. Very clean and spacious. No smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or Disney. The only thing that lets the place down is the breakfast. My husband didn’t like his salmon and scrambled eggs on toast- said the toast wasn’t great...

「Could not fault the spacious room, bed, coffee making facilities, cleanliness or the en suite. Only issue was the ignorant group of foreigners shouting, laughing and up & down the stairs till gone 02:10 in the morning. 」

「I had a one night stay at the pecking Mill and I arrived around 9:30pm. Even though the other guests had all gone to bed and there was no one in the pub, the landlord was friendly and accommodating, he was willing to cook me some chips as I hadn't eaten much that day. We had a good chat about travels also. The room was clean and comfortable and I have no complaints about staying there and I would stay again. Thanks Jeff! 」
