We were in town for a family wedding and this property was perfect for us as we were able to stay with our adult sons and our older son‘s partner with ease in a lovely setting where we could be together between wedding events. The home was immaculate and well appointed, and the owner was quite responsive when we had a transient issue with water pressure in one shower, which was easily resolved within minutes. We would certainly stay there again for future family events.

The photos are accurate. Pots and pans are plentiful. The blender is great! Lots of spices available for use. Interestingly, there was a shortage of cooking utensils, except knives.Surprised by total lack of hand towels for the bathroom. There was mold in the primary shower and the floor mats were disgustingly filthy. All of this was reported to the host, who never answered vrbo messages. Once I contacted vrbo support, he finally answered and promised to correct the next day (Thursday). We never heard from him again despite an additional message prior to our Sunday checkout.The property was satisfactory; the host service and communication was awful.An experience I never want to have again. The owner should be ashamed that I have to warn others. We have family to visit in the area, but will need to seek other options. We paid too much (reasonable cost) to have to be treated so poorly.

This was by far the worst vacation rental experience I've had. The home was uncomfortably hot during our entire stay the thermostat was locked at 79 degrees and could not be adjusted without a PIN. Despite reaching out to the host for assistance (with the thermostat and temperature shown in photos), I never received a response. With outdoor temperatures reaching 95 degrees, the home was stifling, and though there were 2–3 fans in every room, it did little to help.One bedroom lacked both a ceiling fan and overhead lighting instead, it had a couple of lamps. Shockingly, in one of the other bedrooms the lamp shade had a pair of women’s underwear draped over it (also pictured), which was completely unacceptable and unhygienic.To make matters worse, the WiFi went out around 2 a.m., disabling both the TV and the thermostat, which remained unusable until we checked out at 11 a.m. the next day still without a fix or communication from the host.The lack of air control, complete disregard for hygiene, and total absence of communication made this an incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable stay. It felt like the host had no concern for our comfort or basic standards of cleanliness. I would not recommend this property or any others managed by this host.

Very Disappointing

My honest review: Was very excited to stay here, however once we got here, not so much. Very nice home, but when we opened the door, we were hit with 90 air. The house was hot. Fans were blowing which was a red flag right away. AC was locked to 79 (94 outside I might add). Messaged Carlos a few times, no response. Floors were very dirty, left our socks filthy. Shower in master didn't work. Again, no response from Carlos. Now, roaches. No response from Carlos. Called him the next day, left a VM... still no call back. If you stay here and have an urgent problem, I don't know how responsive the owner will be. Other than that, the house itself was lovely.

Disappointing

First of all, the owner was really good communicating and responding to any questions or issues we had. The house didn’t have any hot pads and only one kitchen dish towel and he had those items shipped to us the next day. That was great! However, there is an active cockroach problem in the house. The owner has bug spray that I used (doesn’t seem like something I should have to do on vacation!) but there was still an issue the entire week we were there. We saw a couple of cockroaches even on our last day. That was not good. The floors need a good deep cleaning, especially in the kitchen. There was also an issue with the AC not working. That issue got resolved our last night by the owner. I know the owner was out of the country for a while so maybe that had something to do with the condition of the house. Also, the outside of the house looks a bit rundown with a broken fence and could use a little upkeep all around. The house can sleep quite a few people with three bedrooms and two full baths. It was just the two of us so we had a ton of space. The house could be a really good spot with some deep cleaning and then getting the cockroach problem taken care of.

Great location- modern house- some issues

The location was great for all our kayaking and biking adventures. Bed was very comfortable and living room was good for our streaming at night. Jetted tub worked fine. The main problems were: both showers would not hold temperature would fluctuate from very hot to cold. Also the kitchen had dirty pans and glasses and not enough silverware and utensils and no dish towels. It was a hard kitchen to use if cooking in a lot and not eating out. hot to cold.

some friends and I stayed here over NYE and it was probably the best stay I’ve ever experienced. The host was super attentive, extremely kind and went out of his way to make this experience the best it could be. This property is so beautiful, and so clean… I felt right at home.
