Life on Loon Lake

"Our stay was incredible, and it easily earns a perfect 10/10! The lakefront location is stunning, offering a serene environment with a fantastic private dock and beach area. We were able to spend time on water using the pedal boat, and there was kayak and other options available.The outdoor setup is immaculate, from the expansive green lawn right up to the water to the cozy covered deck. Soaking in the hot tub while enjoying the panoramic, glass-like views of the lake and surrounding mountains.Inside, the home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was also the ultimate dog-friendly getaway, our white pup felt right at home and absolutely loved exploring the sandy beach area and watching the water from the deck. The hosts have put an immense amount of thought into the property, ensuring seamless check-in and an accurate listing. We cannot recommend this place enough!"

"This is a multi-building facility that has a theme that I would describe as "outdoor activities." My room featured this quote by John Muir painted on the wall: "Between every two pines there is a doorway to a new world." There was a second quote on another wall with the same theme. Room and hotel features are modern. It is obviously that this is a newer facility. The area around the hotel appears safe, and the rooms are nice and quiet. It's very dark at night, perfect for a sound sleep. There are two amazing swimming pools adjacent to the river, although I did not avail myself of their use. The hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast, but the adjacent Osprey restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is reasonably priced. Staff on the property were friendly and accommodating."

"How soon can I go back? I can't say enough about this lake house. We hung out on the dock for hours, and when the breeze picked up we hung out on the top deck of the cabin instead--it's protected from wind by trees. When one day it started raining, we moved to the lower deck, which is sheltered by the top deck. Any one of those spots would make the cabin worthwhile, but being able to move between the three takes it to the next level. Meg and Wes were incredible hosts, responsive within minutes when we texted. The bed was super cozy and the house is better stocked than any vacation rental I've been to. We loved our time there."
