Our stay at Hotel Beverly Terrace was extremely frustrating. We asked three different staff members for housekeeping and it was never done until we went to reception the next day. We were promised two complimentary Proseccos, but when we tried to redeem them the bar staff refused, saying we needed to be escorted—making it unnecessarily awkward. We were told we could receive packages, yet when FedEx arrived the hotel refused them, leaving our parcels in limbo and forcing us to reroute them. We were also told we could store luggage after checkout, but management denied this and we had to argue to leave our bags. Facilities are poor: no access to water or ice, rooms too small to open a suitcase, no elevator for luggage, and air conditioning that smells like mould with barely opening windows. No staff spoke English except the manager, so every request required going downstairs. Parking is $35/day in a non-secure carport. We were granted a 2pm checkout, but our digital key stopped working. Instead of fixing it, we were left waiting outside and repeatedly locked out while moving bags. For the price of 6 nights, this hotel is well below expectations. Avoid.

This place was very cute and cozy. Super close to some great restaurants and bars. Although during the summer the rooms tend to get quite damp, the air conditioner helped a lot though.

Small and quaint hotel, clean and comfortably appointed, essentials, soaps, creams, coffee, tea, linens, all in room. Actual staffed lobby, easy valet parking, nice walkable location. Only negative bathroom “door” is a bifold, not very private, right next to bed. If traveling as three or 4, there is a sitting room with sofabed- but that bathroom “door” is an issue. Very polite staff/valet.

Good area to explore LA. Staff were great ( shout out to Gwynn for the ice ) I think it would benefit from some attention from corporate office - needs some basic maintenance and upkeep ( walls dinged up , scuffs and upkeep ) But overall a great location with good acess to public transportation . It would be nice if there were some partnership with the restaurant inside the building …

This is a quaint little hotel. The staff were extremely friendly. It is very clean. The roof top terrace was peaceful and quiet even knowing there was a lot of traffic traveling by the hotel. I loved the valet. One in particular was extremely accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.

The code system for entering the building as well as my room malfunctioned repeatedly. There was no cleaning of the room, ie garbage removal, towel replacement, even though I stayed for five nights. I was informed at check-in that such service incurred an additional fee. I paid $225.00/a night for a room and facility that looked more like it should cost $150.00/night. The housekeeping staff congregated outside my door because my room was by the supply closet. Their talking was intrusive. The hotel itself shows its age: carpets in the room and hallways are stained, the walls have marks. My tub and sink were slow to drain. On the positive, the staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive when I had to report a problem. They sent a plumber the same day to fix the drains. I know this is a three star hotel, but the facility is pretty rundown for the price they charged.
