The location was in a great spot. However there was a fair few issues with our check in. They kept the walking us we needed to pay even though our booking was paid in advance. If you're an international guest (outside the US) make sure you clarify this upon check in. Hotel Baja Cabo also states they're able to arrange transportations however it is impossible to contact them via phone or email. Very disappointed from this.

it was very inexpensive so I wasn't expecting much. It was the perfect location for me and the only drawback from my perspective was having to share the dorm room three nights with a local who stayed there because he kept having fights with his girlfriend. Nothing special but a great price.

Easy Walking distance to everything, room not modern and so-so adequate but clean enough, fair price for Cabo, real comfortable nice patios with lots of plants. I don’t think my room had AC, ok for November and winter but would not want to do summer without.

Nice for the price!

I took the hotel for the price and the proximity of the town. It was the cheapest one in Cabo San Lucas, and it worth it! Don't expect to be in a luxury hotel, and you will enjoy it! It is safe, well situated, and you have all you need.

Ok if you're on a budget

This hotel is a nightmare to find, not even the locals know where it is. When I arrived there was an issue with check-in, I don't speak Spanish and the lady at reception didn't speak English so I didn't know what was happening. Almost an hour later I was taken to a horrible room with 4 beds in it - not what I booked. Moments later I was taken to a much nicer room - the one I actually booked! From then on my experience was good.

if your looking for a resort keep looking, if your looking for an inexspensive place to sleep close to town this is perfect. quite balcony upstairs. 1.00 taco stand one block down the road.

It could be nice

I booked the "dormitory style" room. Hence the word "style"!! It's says nothing about staying with strangers!! Nor is this advertised as a Hostel hotel. This opens the book for up for all kinds of wrong. Orbitz should remove them off of the hotel listing !! It has great potential but no effort. Cabo is beautiful though !!

You get what you pay for...

The staff were relatively friendly, but the hostel was not very clean and the building itself was in poor condition. I was in a mixed dorm room which was cheap, but the bedding had cigarette holes in it and the pillows were very old. The bathroom needed better cleaning, and there were no plates or silverware, though they had a microwave. You had to walk a floor down to access the drinking water.
