We absolutely loved this quiet home in the woods! Wildlife greeted us each night, the fire pit was perfect for making family memories!! 20ish mins back to town, but far enough to allow you to relax and unwind! House is clean and very accommodating!! We will definitely be back!

Quiet, lakeview mornings.

The house was well-stocked, cozy, and peaceful. Tucked a ways off long, windy roads, the mornings are blissful and the nights are secluded. Our stay was perfect for a long weekend getaway!

Second stay here, just as happy. Had a little problem upon check-in this time. The response to fix the problem was very quick even though we arrived at 10:00 at night! I love staying here. The scenery is gorgeous and love seeing the deer, the water, the fall colors in the trees, and we saw a few cardinals this time!

Family Fun!!

Great property for family time!!! Plenty of space for everyone to eat play and relax!! The view of the lake is nice and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We had many walks, and early mornings to watch the sunrise. Deer watching was fun for everyone!! We all loved it!!

Perfect!

Had a great 4-night stay! Loved everything about the house, inside and out. Owner communication was also very responsive and accommodating. The house is well stocked with all the necessities, and a TV in every room is always a plus for us, especially when they’re easy to operate which all the TVs were. I love the decor in every room as well, and couches and beds are so comfy! Can’t wait to book another stay!

Amazing!

So glad we found this home. We fell in love from the moment we walked in the door. The pictures do not do it justice at all. It is super cute, nicely decorated and had everything you need to cook a full family dinner, as we did for Thanksgiving. The dining area with the fake fireplace was a great touch too. Rock, our host, was very accommodating and always quick to answer any questions. You will not be disappointed by staying here. We would definitely stay again.

Quiet, clean, and comfortable!

This property was very clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the owner allowing dogs and the property is great for dogs as there is plenty of grassy area to walk around and explore. The neighborhood is hilly, but walkable. The big screen T.V. was great and there is pride in ownership with updates to the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. This is a very charming lake house and I would not hesitate to return. The location is a little secluded, so visitors will need to plan where to eat and grocery shop. The only thing I would say to be aware of is that the sunroom is not heated so there will be limited use in the colder months, and, the stairs are very steep so be careful when navigating the stairs to the basement and the third floor, especially for older folks and older doggos. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful Cottage with a View

This cottage was perfect for our 4 person (2 couple stay). It appears to have been freshly remodeled and was incredibly clean and modern. The open concept kitchen, dining and family room was perfect. We did use the kitchen and there was plenty of space. The dining area was good for the 4 of us. The living room has a huge tv and we enjoyed watching some football together. The bathrooms are clean and very functional. All the bedrooms are large enough and comfy. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces as the weather was very nice while we were there. Very pretty area and we even had some deer come by each day for a visit. We had a great time and so will you.

Beautiful property!

The property was identical to the pictures advertised. It is somewhat remote but easy to access Knoxville or other close smaller towns. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes. The beds were very comfortable and the house was extremely clean and appears recently updated. The upstairs is a little warm so I would suggest bringing a fan if you are hot natured in the summer. There is a ceiling fan which helps a lot. The gas grill was nice but the ignitor didn't work so we had to manually light the grill which was fine. The neighborhood was quiet and sitting on the front porch we watched deer and listened to birds. We took a walk around the neighborhood and it was lovely. It was a perfect place to reconnect with my sisters and go visit my home town (Kingston) which was close by. We would definitely stay there again in the future!

Cozy house near the Tennessee River

This house was exactly what we were looking for. On a nice sized lot in a quiet little neighborhood. Two bedrooms upstairs, one on the main level and then a game room with a couch and recliner downstairs. My teenage boys ended up bringing friends on our trip at the last minute and we were worried the house might be too small but everyone was comfortable (we did use one air mattress). The owner/prop mgr was very nice and responsive to any issues. He and I texted mostly and he always got a quick message back to us with solutions. We rented a boat for a few days at the nearby Tenn National Marina, which is about 20 mins away, and enjoyed our time on the river. I also played golf a couple of times in the area and the courses were fantastic - even in the heat of summer. Our crowd also loved the area around the house (got the boys away from the video games and they played frisbee golf and woofle ball outside most days). Then at night they played poker in the sunroom that has a big picnic table or sat outside and roasted marshmallows at the fire pit. When they wanted to hit the video games at night they had a large TV in the gameroom (where they could be loud and we didn't hear them) and medium sized TVs upstairs. There is not much "nightlife" in the immediate area, but we took a few trips around Knoxville where there was plenty for all to be entertained. My wife and I loved the nearby town of Loudon - small and quiet, with some good dinner spots. Would be happy to return!

Absolutely beautiful!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at this property. The house was immaculate and had such wonderful little touches to make us feel welcome. The adults loved the coffee makers, wonderful scenic views, updated kitchen and bathrooms and easy check in process. The kids loved the cozy blankets everywhere and my 3 year old daughter especially loved staying in “The Dolly room”, she loves Dolly Parton. It was perfect for our family of four plus my in laws. Would definitely recommend to others!!
