「This hotel is up a hill from the Galway city center. I would highly recommend getting a taxi if you’re carrying luggage. The area around the hotel is under construction (up and coming things I suppose) but we never heard a peep of construction noise. The staff were attentive and friendly at the front desk, the downstairs bar and dining area, and at the rooftop restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable. 」

「It is the historic, central hotel in Galway. Right on the city green. Walkable to all Galway neighborhoods. The hotel offers discounted public parking nearby, a plus. The staff was professional and helpful with our questions about getting around. Our bedroom had the grand 19th century high ceilings. 」
