This review is extremely disappointing and I can’t help but feel that it is retaliatory. Alexander and I had extremely pleasant correspondence during his group’s stay, so much so that he even inquired about staying an additional night which we happily approved! The issues did not start until we conducted our post check out review of the home and noticed that the Indoor golf net was damaged and that approximately 6 golf clubs had been completely broken. I notified Alexander and he acknowledged the broken items and stated that he had purchased the insurance and that repairs/replacements would not be an issue. He asked that we let him know what the estimate was once we obtained it. We received the estimate today and the total to repair the net was approximately $245. This estimate included a fuel surcharge, travel time, materials, disassembly of the broken net, repair of the broken net, and disposal of the broken materials. We filed a claim through the insurance and we also added $70 to replace the broken clubs with some cheap $10-$12 clubs. It was not until this point that the interaction turned sour. Alexander completely disagreed with the claim amount and then proceeded to launch a verbal campaign towards the entire property. According to the time stamps on the VRBO messenger, Alexander received notice of the claim between 8:40-8:42 pm and proceeded to leave the above review at 8:43 pm. There was not mention of any of these issues during the stay. As mentioned above, Alexander actually asked to extend the reservation! Lastly, regarding the allegation that someone knocked on the door at midnight…we have an extremely long driveway (approximately 300 ft) and as a courtesy to our guests we have someone wheel the trash out to the road on the evenings of trash pick up at around 8 pm. We are extremely respectful of the privacy and relaxation of our guests and would never interrupt a guest at midnight. Future travelers please book with confidence. We are extremely fair and honest hosts and all of our past reviews and ratings speak to that.

Hey Meg, thanks so much for the feedback. I will definitely look into stocking the items you mentioned above. Definitely the grill cleaner...I don't get many requests for the other items but we will consider adding those. I apologize about the internet. We have since had a technician on site and this issue has been remedied. Thanks!
