“We loved the red jacket before it burned down! The townhomes were a good alternative! Everything was great. Staff was friendly and indoor water park was perfect . Air conditioning was a little tricky to adjust but overall worked good. I would recommend and stay again although I can’t wait until renovations are completed for the red jacket hotel so the atmosphere on the grounds is what it used to be. ”

“This home was very comfortable!! Loved the open floor plan and space to be able to spread out. My family had an amazing thanks giving dinner here, kitchen accommodated everything, even had a foil turkey pan awaiting my arrival!! Perfect!! My only complaint was sink drainage was very sluggish, had to wash dishes by hand because when I filled dishwasher and started it, It started quickly leaking all over floor. Other than that our stay was amazing!!! Had a great time!!”

“This was an amazing property! We had a large group with kids ranging from ages 6-15. All of the kids enjoyed this stay! Plenty of fun activities for all. Swimming at the pool was the top rated activity in our group but many also enjoyed the boating, beach area, frog catching, air hockey, ping pong, pool table, volleyball, corn hole, theater room and more. This property was clean, plenty of seating, comfortable sleeping arrangements, house was well equipped with all cooking utensils/needs. We……

“Story Land was the primary destination during our stay, and the cottage made travelling there quick and easy. It was also a breeze going to Schouler Park by way of back roads. The typical traffic congestion on the main road had no impact on us during our stay. The cottage itself is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for the night we cooked in. We never felt cramped, especially with the large playroom towards the rear of the cottage. We won't hesitate to book again. ……

“Beautiful and welcoming, it was perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of space inside and out. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. ”

“House was as great as advertised. House was clean and everything worked like it should. Only complaint is that the kitchen range had its numbers scraped off. We could not tell which burner was controlled by which nob and if it was cooking on high or low. ”

“My stay was great. Just a couple of things.. there is only a double bed w a bunk above in the second bedroom. Not the other bed, like in the pictures. It was fine for us, but just an FYI. There is a wall ac unit that works very well, w remote. It took a little bit to figure it out, tho. It wouldve been nice to have an info packet on how to use that, n also the fireplace remote. And local places to go.Very close to a general store, little further (20 min) to a walmart. A map to get in and out of……

“A wonderful get together for family in a beautiful location. The home was exactly as advertised and perfect for both adults (5) and a pre-teen and teen. Fishing, canoeing, a fire in the fire pit and lots of laughs. Got to watch 2 eagles fishing and flying around. Peaceful, quiet and we will definitely book again. ”

"The front desk staff was extremely friendly and even recommended nearby souvenir shops and an amazing breakfast spot. I would give them a perfect score for their service. The hotel is converted from an old elementary school, which gives it a unique character. However, the bathroom is a bit small, with a sink that seems sized for elementary school students, making it easy to splash water everywhere. The bed appears to have dust mites, as my allergies acted up shortly after lying down, though it wasn't too severe. The TV offers many channel options, so you won't get bored at night！"
